United Game away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What a fucking spineless first half... If this team want to win trophies they have to learn how to handle these big games and step up to the fucking plate.
I can already hear the little bit jaded and they gave everything against Dortmund midweek excuses coming up. They need to get out there second half rip out the fucking handbrake and insert it sideways up RVP's arse!

If we all put a fiver towards it, maybe we can get tightarse Wenger a new jacket to replace that God forsaken bad omen puffa he's wearing.

As soon as that gets put on, we play like shite   :banghead:

We'll be alright, I've got a good feeling about this.

And his zipper is clearly broken, there will surely be one awesome gif around the web...
I have to agree, we beat Barca when he unzipped that Michelin tyre he's wearing..

northbank123 wrote:First things first, despite the inevitable analysis to death of the goal it wasn't terrible defensively. Ramsey saw a few runners at the near post and stepped forward a yard or two to compensate, Giroud threw himself at the ball as best he could off a standing jump and Gibbs shouldn't have come inside but at the end of the day it's looped almost into the top corner. Great delivery, great run, great header and that's the danger of purely zonal marking without a few people covering runners.

In general terms, we've been dreadful. We've been scared to play and on the few occasions we've got anywhere near their box nobody has stepped forward to give an option and it's broken down. We were second best from the first whistle and we've been rattled by conceding from a set piece after we'd settled into the game. Not turning up for the first half and an unnecessarily negative approach, deja fucking vu. They've not even played well, our midfield should be pissing all over Phil Jones and Michael Carrick in the middle of the park but we've not moved the ball at pace once in the entire game so far.

First half was absolutely shit and the only difference to previous years is that they're not as good as they were.
Great header

It came off his shoulder, 1 in 20 of those might go in
