My interest in this season is waning badly. I thought with a few new signings and nobody else looking good apart from Chelsea we could make a go of it this season. Yet its already abundantly clear we have zero hope of improving on last season. League Cup gone first time out, Champions League we are out of our depth and if it wasnt for Liverpool, United , Spurs and Everton being so piss poor we'd be scraping for 4th once again.

We'll finish 3rd get knocked out of the CL by the first decent side and probably fold in the FA Cup. Only September and we know what will happen.

Nice and cheerful on here I see.

Watched it in a Gooner pub and I have to say the tiny totts are average and we still gift them a goal.

Jack's early booking probably led to the goal as he would definitely have committed a professional foul on Lamela.

Ox,Ozil,Cazorla and Chambers all very good today. Kos was also good as usual. Welbeck started well and then faded, with his air shot cum assist being the highlight of the 2nd half.

Thought it would he a 1-1 draw but disappointed that we let them get anything out of the game. Hadn't realised the chavs was our next game....Think I'll give football a miss for 8days,either that or watch the way a skittish girl watches a horror film....with my hands over my eyes.

If we do not play the game negatively, Fabregas will be putting through balls for Costa for the full 90minutes.

Honestly believe with Arsene's style of not worrying about the other team we will get f**ked. The humilation will be biblical.

ozil ox and kos were brilliant. chambers gibbs and welbeck did good. wenger is such a fucking joke. its so frustrating to watch because we all know we could be doing so much better with just a better manager. no single person on this planet pisses me off more than this senile fucking fool.

a better team ie chelsea would have fucking crushed us in the first half.

With the players at his disposal and money spent in recent years Wenger is not doing enough . We are not getting any better

This team is doing no better than it was a couple of years back with players like Denilson, Eboue, Almunia, Gallas, Diaby, Song Silvestre Chamakh and Arshavin all playing regular football . How can that be???

1 Fa Cup aside this club has not moved forward still stuck in an endless cycle of 3rd/4th.

the club is stick in a cycle but tonight, we were saved from a horrible defeat. I had a nasty feeling tonight , and getting a draw seems a positive result.

After reading quite few of the post match comments on here, anyone want to revisit my theory that winning the Fa cup will turn out to be the worst thing to happen to this club for 9yrs.

I thought we played well and should of won, Tottenham stunk the place out with their smash and grab perfomance.

Ozil, OX and Gibbs were stars of the show.

Arteta limped off injured and flamini isn't good enough, so thanks Wenger for not getting a top class DM.

Beg to differ, they were average the only chances they had, we carved out for them.

Going forward, at about the 90th min we were attacking and Ozil,Alexis and Cazorla were within 10 yards of each other, with the Ox being the only focal point of attack down their left. Welbeck was by himself on the penalty spot surrounded by scum players. Welbeck is lots of things but he isn't a Zlat that would dominate CB's.

We were and are good enough to wipe the floor with them but are hindered by the manager.

It's such a fucking shame because we have a lot of good midfielders and we should be able to rotate to good effect. We should be really versatile, hard to predict and able to change games with substitutions.

But Wenger just chucks out any XI and expects it to work, no tactical variation, not even a slight adjustment to acknowledge the fact that we were playing Ox and Ozil out wide rather than more genuine wingers like Walcott and Sanchez. This one-size-fits-all approach is complete bollocks.

Anybody with a quarter of a footballing brain can see the Flamini/Arteta role is going to cost us regularly this season and sure enough. The dozy *word censored* had all the time in the world, and the one time he should have chopped the player down he didn't. At this stage I would rather see him try Wilshere at DM because he can't be any worse than either of those two. We are going to be completely fucking bumholed by Chelsea.

For all that 'heroic defending' bullshit all Kaboul did was stand at the front post and waited for us to squander a promising wide position by firing a ball straight at him in trying to find our one player in the box against two or three defenders.

For all the positivity about our Summer signings its the ones we didn't get that will hurt most. Defensive midfielder and defence cover. Neither happened and we paid for having Flamini on the pitch today. Spuds are a horrible outfit to watch, persistent fouling and time wasting. we were the much better team and yet we failed to win because of clueless errors.
Thanks Arsene !!!
Ox , Ozil and Kos as mentioned were outstanding, Chambers played well, but what a fuck up for their goal. Accident waiting to happen.

Wenger managing against the Chavs .we're fucked...and yes it is his fault when things go wrong..there are £8million reasons per season why ..

I thought there were some positives out there today and I'd take 2 points a season out of NLD's every year to save on grief. Ozil & Gibbs really stood out for me. It is such a shame Gibbs is made out of china cos his work rate and ability going forward are fantastic. As everyone says the lack of a DM and out and out goal scorer will cost us a chance of the league, but 3rd of 4th looks about right. The absence of Ramsey & Arteta will not be that big as their form has been terrible since the start of the season. It doesn't look like Ramsey and Wilshere can play together. Did Chambers pick up his 5th booking today meaning a suspension? I expect our unbeaten record is going to be taken to pieces by Chelsea next week, but unfortunately they are not going to be our direct competitors this year so does it matter?

Their goal was a fuck up from Szchesney throwing it to the lethergic Merts who then passed it to Flamini, who was still facing his own goal and couldn't see eriksen closing him down.
We will never win the league with out a top CB, Merts isn't good enough, and Flamini and Arteta don't do enough of a good job as a DM

We should of gone after Vidal and Hummels,
