Southampton away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger complaining to fourth official. apparently because Koeman didn't stop the ball going past him when Arsenal had a throw. He believed Koeman should have been more sporting and stopped the ball .

Me too - am more interested in hoping citeeh, burnley and Leicester win than I am worries about our result

.

first choice back 5 today pal - tets, jack and ramsay are not DM's and don't want to be.

i'm not convinced that ozil and giroud would have made any difference today either...

Don't normally think much of Francis but just about everything he said today was right.

"The sort of goals you see conceded only in the Sunday League"
"We're in the 89th minute, Arsenal are two down, and the only man in the box is Chuba Akpom"
"They're nice to watch, but easy to play against because they have absolutely no physical presence"

Yep, Trev - that's the modern day Arsenal. Honestly that was as pathetic as anything that's gone before. As I suspected at half time....one of those days where we could play till midnight and Forster could lay out his blanket and have a flask of tea

Oh fuck, we lost a game, it's all going terribly wrong.
It's a full blown crisis, make no mistake about that.

Il let the people that only appear when we lose crack on now - I think we all agree what we need and who is to blame but if you take today's game In isolation injuries have cost us massively.

Of the course the problem is, there is no desire, nobody who hates to lose - that worries more than this defeat.

WENGER OUT.

Every team have had the same fixture congestion so how can we use that as an excuse ? Actually if you examine things closely you will agree that our players should actually be fresher than theirs when you consider how debouchy, kos, the ox, rosicky and coquelin have played a lot less games than their counterparts

injuries have cost us massively

another silly excuse. did you see the team we put out today? more than good enough to get a win. probablem was the lack of defensive cohesion, tactics and leadership.

If it were just this one game everyone was getting upset about, then yes, it would be an overreaction, however, I think most of us are taking into account the previous 500 or so games over the last 10 or so years under le old fool. Just guessing :rubchin:
