southampton away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

At least that side were proud to wear the Arsenal shirt,Meltersacker couldnt lace Tick-Tock's boot's,

I saw silly bollock's this morning moaning about the refereeing decisions again...was it the ref's fault we didnt score 1 fucking goal too?

Wenger so frustrated he comes down to blaming the referee, he knows he is clueless

Most posters at the start of this thread were predicting comfortable wins. I decided to keep my pessimism to myself, but I wasn't at all confident.

Our recent results have been good but, City aside, I don't think any of us could have been happy with our form. Most of the teams we beat had chances against us and a result like tonight's seemed just a matter of time (although I thought a one or two goal defeat, not a rout).

I turned the stream off at three, but I can barely remember us creating a chance.

Monreal did OK up to the point when I escaped, but the rest were dire, devoid of ideas and effort.

I'm depressed but not surprised.

We've dealt very VERY well with huge blows such as Caz, Coq and Alexis. 1-3 The Arsenal - Walcott brace at his old stomping ground :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

LMAO @ the delusion

What really annoyed me, but unfortunately did not surprise me, was the real lack of leadership and fire in the belly. Mertesacker was giving the ball away left, right and centre, and nobody was on his back, telling him to get it together. I rarely see anyone talking in this team, less Flamini but I doubt anyone listens to or respects him. There is nobody in there like a Vieira or Tony to get the players focused after conceding an early goal, they all look shot once that bloke scored that belter.

Mertesacker was just fucking dire, the chance for Long in the first half where he didn't even have to get out of 2nd gear to outpace him was just embarassing. It is time to build a partnership in central defence with Koscielny and Gabriel and drop Mertesacker, who just winds me up everytime I see him on the pitch now.

Some will blame the decisions that went against us, which were poor, but there is no excuse to turn in a performance like that. No great surprise however and it is one too many like that per season that costs us ultimately.

LOL. Go stick a cucumber up your arse or play with traffic. Your bitterness and obsession with me is so funny it's almost homoerotic.
Appreciate the attention but go on sunshine, do one plonker
Anytime you would like to meet ,I'm sure we could organize something ,I doubt it though ,as you are a coward .

LMFAO

You are brilliant. The king of virtual UFC fighting ah hahahahaha

Who said anything about fighting. I reckon he's waiting for you to turn up with that cucumber!

Total gutless performance. Got a Saints supporter mate who is right in saying our 3 imports from the south coast wouldn't get a run in their side. Also we must have the weakest front 3 in "The Boy Feo", Campbell Soup & Da Frenchman. Didn't even look like scoreing. Really pissed off, Scum won also.

I agree with you Dan. Not losing many and ticking along. With the kind of season most teams are having, they are in with as good a chance as anyone  :banghead:

think they got 3 tougher games coming up, and they met southampton at just the right time, so hoping they will start to drop points

Out of all that catastrophic pile of garbage, the worst thing was how much we have up. No effort whatsoever and when our captain wasn't cowering away from a tame cross/pass (second goal) or running like he had lead boots on (take your pick) he was tamely standing around hoping the ball came nowhere near him.

Especially after the third went in the game was over but I have never seen a title-winning side ever give up like that. They could have had 5 or 6 by the end and the only bloke putting in a shred of effort was the young kid who came on out wide who shouldn't be anywhere near the first team.
