You are saying that in jest right ?? :? He was piss poor (that assist aside) against the worst Irish centre back partnership in living memory - the two centre halves in question are eager and committed, but there is a reason why they play for championship clubs

The assist was very good and showed what Giroud can contribute. The problem is he doesn't contribute that effectively near often enough and he doesn't do near often enough what he is primarily employed to do; score goals.

Not at all. I can't take you seriously if you think he was "piss poor". Think he's been more than decent for the French so far, albeit Benzema would of course be starting ahead of him.

I think the 'Giroud Question' was answered fully and concisley with his lack of goals for god knows how many hours/games last season and then the Big Lump of Poo had the audacity to cup his ears to the crowd when he eventually manged to score a goal.

We have seen the best of Giroud and no matter how long wenger persists in playing him - He will not improve beyond what we have already witnessed.

Maybe some foolish person at PSG will make a ridiculous offer for him - and we can then all hail the savious Sanogo.

Yeah Wengers a cuntt. Giroud's a BIG lump of smelly Poo.

end of. :(

On a bright note wilshere managed to finish the Euro's un-injured. :?

I actually don't agree with the bit in red, mate. Giroud has been average to good-ish to absolute shit and back. But I do feel a better manager could and would get more from Giroud in a better system more suited to his (admittedly limited) abilities. Just how much more is anyone's guess though... :|

As for Jack, he still has pre-season to get through yet.

Nice finish for the first goal and another header, takes him to 3 goals for the tournament.

Sorry, do they not count because it's against Iceland?! I keep forgetting the rules.

Giroud's still gonna have a big role in the team / squad next year even if he is edged out by a better player. Unlike Wally Walcott who needs to have some self-respect and sign for West Ham or Crystal Palace before his career disappears completely.

Against Iceland no problem. Perhaps we can play them between Jan and April every week.

Oh well France are going out. Giroud has been speaking about how the French are ready for the Germans. Similar to comments on how his experience at Metz will help Arsenal win the league, then stopped scoring for 3 months.

Christ the fucking carthorse's ego is going to be even worse next year. Get ready for more posturing in the press, more exasperated looks and gesticulations, more sauntering about up top rather than chasing down and more goal droughts :barscarf:

Whatever you think of Wenger we wouldNt have a hope of winning the league with this bloke starting as lone striker every week whoever managed us.

He's going to be our main striker when the season starts, if he can keep his form from the first half of the season to the second then he will be an asset, if he can't well he will be as insignificant as a postie worker.....
