We look crap on the possession and passes stats, yet we don't seem to have been that bad.

It's games like this where Ozil should be on the bench. He offers nothing defensively.

Of course, now he tackles Messi

TBF I think we've played well up until now and had the best chances but bottled it in front of goal which we've been doing all season.

They're petrified of doing anything against Barcelona or Real or Bayern because of the media power they wield. One unpopular decision and it's curtains for their career as they'll go running to UEFA and whinge. It used to be AC Milan and Juventus, now it's these three .

True, we just can't score goals.

Not sure what to make of that half, apart from the two chances near the end they didn't get much penetration, on the other hand we get chances and can't finish them...

They always have loads of the ball but other than the last 5 minutes you've been the better side. Just need to keep your composure a bit better in the final third

We should have had at least a goal, why did it have to fall to the 2nd most brainless fucker in the team?

If you look at the main decisions he has got wrong that Giroud free kick and Coquelin somehow not getting carded both went in our favour, as opposed to the free kick which Messi bought going to other way. Still, they are diving whining picks who deserve to get shafted.

Think Ramsey has been excellent, Sanchez has looked lively and Coq and back 4 have acquitted themselves well.

They are not as good a side as they were 5/6 years ago. They are a good side with an exceptional forward line which they rely on almost entirely to create and score. Nowhere near as balanced as they were, Iniesta isn't the same player and Rakitic isn't fit to lace Xavi's boots.

We have been good value in this game and it wasn't until the final minute where we switched off that they had a chance of note.

Ox's miss has summed up our form in front of goal over the last few months - completely limp dicked. Thought we contained them very well for 44 minutes before going into brain fart mode trying to gift them a goal.

Giroud is such a pussy, he's on the edge of our box, a barca *word censored* intercepts the ball and he does fuck all to stop him, that *word censored* is more worried about messing up his hair than playing football, fuck me he depresses me watching him week in week out, fuckin hell I sound like you miserable fuckin lot now

Time for some upbeat stuff, I think we can win this :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Other than that shank of a shot, he has played decent tonight. He usually is a complete liability in defense, but played well despite limping most of the half.

Maybe that's what we need to make us work. Normally we have tons of possession and stroll around on route to a 0-0 against teams like Hull. We beat City away last season 2-0 with only about 30%.

Playing well for bits and pieces is not worth a shit if he doesn't take his chances in games like this. He also let Mascherano tackle him when he was wide open.
