Re: city away thread
We are winning the "possession stats" once again but just compare Aguero's involvement in the game compared to Giroud. If you didn't know Giroud was on the field you wouldn't know, because he's completely uninvolved. Same could probably be said for Sanchez mind you.
Re: city away thread
Where's Lefty when you need him, I have a job right up his street. The house sewage drain is blocked and I really need it clearing - now!
Re: city away thread
Loads of decent opportunities on the break squandered because we seem incapable of passing to a team mate
Re: city away thread
I've got a feeling Giroud wasn't really hurt there! Not sure why I think that. Maybe it's because he's a BIG FUCKIN TART!
Re: city away thread
Rubbish!! Yes he did big it up like an idiot! But supporting the team/players whilst they are scoring! wtf !!is wrong with that?augie wrote:Clash wrote:But then the line is blurred. Well they are not going to shout "Fuck off" are they when the bloke has just scored!!
Giroud shoudn't even be on the pitch - but whilst he is - The Gooners support the Team.
I'm not calling for players to be abused but sing Arsenal songs instead of player songs would be my preference at the moment.
Absolutely with you clash - I am all for celebrating a goal, but singing a c.unts name after going 15 games without scoring is ridiculous and is basically celebrating averageness imo![]()
Cupping his ear last week merited a swift kick in the balls rather than singing his name too
I hate wonker and the board etc. But will always support a player if he scores a goal for us!
Re: city away thread
I really wish Giroud hadn't scored our goal anyone but him. He'll think he's the dogs whotsits now.xisstential wrote:We are winning the "possession stats" once again but just compare Aguero's involvement in the game compared to Giroud. Lol, he probably feels I'm gonna have to deal with this, cannot leave it up to those two...... so out he tears.rodders999 wrote:You used never see Cech tearing out of goal during his Chelsea days. It's an almost weekly occurance now. Even someone of his experience can be ruined by a complete lack of defensive training.

Wilshere "dwell on the ball until i loose it' doing a good job

Again you are selective in your interpretation of what we are saying - cheering for an Arsenal goal is supporting the team/players, but when you start singing his name you are going way beyond that and are elevating him onto an undeserved platform imo

Re: city away thread
Can someone tell me which team are supposed to be a little bit jaded from playing / travelling in Europe in mid week please ?
Re: city away thread
Dont you think it sounds out the message that us Arsenal fans are a soft touch though?wilko49er wrote:Rubbish!! Yes he did big it up like an idiot! Far too easy to please. Manager and players can treat us with contempt but do one thing right ... a thing they're paid a fortune to do ... and we're back onside.
Its why Wenger is still here ... other sets of fans would have driven him long before now. We are too soft. Home and away.
Re: city away thread
We should we walking this seeing as we are, in Wenger's eyes, the 'away champions'.
Re: city away thread
This club is a mess, the players aren't coached on what their specifics roles are. Three midfielders free roaming without a care. They can't even wear the correct boots, what an embarrassment.

I'd say that, based on last week, it's pretty clear that Giroud has no respect for the fans, so why should the fans respect him?wilko49er wrote:Rubbish!! Yes he did big it up like an idiot! It should be a two-way street. The fact that it isn't, and that fans are happy to bend over and be done up the shitter, is exactly why the club will continue to exploit them for years to come (both mentally and financially).
