What a joke

Greedy Fat Sam looking for £400K when he already gets £250K per month for two years, what an arsehole. Although to be fair, the rest of what he said wasn't anything that wouldn't be said in a pub when talking about football. To say that there were ways around third party ownership wasn't exactly a surprising thing (it's ridiculous that third party ownership even exists; just more stacks of cash for agent scum). He was right about Woy. He was right about Neville. When there was discussion about bungs, GFS clammed up and told them to leave him out of that discussion.

I can't help but feel pissed off that the press have done for yet another England manager. They really are scum. Especially when there really is no other viable English option to manage. Will Fat Steve get the job by default after walking out on yet another club this summer? Southgate to lead for the rest of this year, even though he didn't want the job. More speculation on Eddie Howe, who doesn't want it yet. There's still talk of them getting TOF, although they'd want his £692K per month deal to run out first. I can't see why the FA couldn't have just fined GFS £400K and kept him in the job.

As for the eight PL bosses thing; I doubt TOF will be among them. Although I do wonder about Bischoff, Tavlaridis, Danilvicius, Mendez, Malz...

Stop ffs ............. are they supposed to ignore the fact that the national manager is advising people on how to circumvent the rules of the very organization that are employing him ?? We all know that the meeja are a shower of w*nkers, but at times like this they are 100% correct in their actions - fans continually complain about the crookedness within the game and how much money is going to people who contribute fcuk all, but yet you think that turning a blind eye to this just so that a fat prehistoric walrus can stay in a job that no-one else wanted

I agree that they're right to expose it but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the way they did it. It is all a bit underhand and seedy and just shows you that these lowlife fuckers are no better than those they prey upon. You have to remember that he hadn't done anything wrong until they went out of their way to put an offer in front of him. Sure that doesn't justify him taking it but nonetheless the guy would still be in his job doing nothing wrong today if it weren't for those vermin *word censored*.
I'm no fan of Fat Sam but I don't agree with entrapment. It's a lazy form of journalism and doesn't show the 'profession' (I use the term lightly) in the best light.

There's a massive difference between catching somebody doing wrong and orchestrating the situation whereby they might!

I bet if the 'media filth' were to bother looking under the fingernails of all the members of the board (FA) - they would dig up plenty of dodgy stuff....the lowest paid member of that blazer wearing fraternity is on £800k a year for doing what exactly.

I think there should be a clean-out Root, Branch and Twig. Kick all the fuckers out on their ears and get in some Football people not ex CEO's etc...they're all riding the FA gravy train and know nothing about what is best for the game and the winning of trophies.

Fat Sam got what he deserved - BUT..I bet every member of that board has had a free jolly, gift or whatever....But it is all considered to be part of the (well hidden) perks of the job.

C.U.N.T.S All of em.

It's entrapment. Simple as.

Can't believe anyone would excuse the way the telegraph have decided to go for Sam, just to sell more of their Shitty rags and give themselves massive pats on the back. They've done no good whatsoever. As if they give a shit about the game

It's hard not to disagree with the things fat Sam said about Wembley, Woy, Gary Neville, agents and third party ownership. He wasn't advising merely stating what he knows about it.
He lost the job because this was about his niavity, greed, and lack of integrity that is required for the leading figurehead of English football.
It was entrapment and his agent was accompanying him should have advised him better. Failings all round.
Strange how the FA can sack two managers for voicing their personal thoughts and beliefs, but not sack a manager who failed to win a match at world cup finals? I thought the England managers job was to win football matches, regardless of the things they say.

Get Pep Guardiola in on a part time basis. He's finding this greatest league in the world a piece of piss. He could do both jobs with his eyes closed.

So obviously they are wrong cos they went after a guy with a vanilla reputation and who has never been involved in a shady deal before ?
FFS have a word with yourselves lads - yes they may have "created" the situation in this occasion, but they went after and caught a guy that has been believed to be crooked for years. Do you honestly believe that this is a once off ? Nobody made the guy react the way he did, but he took it cos he is a greedy c.unt and has probably got away with such deals in the past. The telegraph did not pick his name out of a hat when they were deciding who to go after - I will bet my life that they had been fed info on previous deals that he got away with, but knew that they needed to catch him in the act so set up the sting

Apparently this sting op has been going on for 10 months now so it started before he was appointed England manager - would people be so precious in defending him if he was still manager of the shammers, or geordies or Bolton ?? :rubchin:

It's not that much about 'defending Fat Sam', it's more about the press doing their best to continue the never-ending crisis around the England team since 2007 to sell papers and during a time when there is a severe lack of English managers who are viable candidates for the job. Then again, since 1970 the England team has dogshite, with the exception of 1990 and 1996-06.

It's no surprise that Fat Sam is bent and has previous, but the press are just as dirty for manufacturing the situation. I don't really give a shit about international football, or Fat Sam. I'm sure there is corruption at all levels of the game, which doesn't make it right, but it is systematic problem, with all the billions being pumped into the game we love. The entire situation is laughable.

the most twisted and fucked up thing is that the press only set out to sell more newspapers to make money not to rid English football of its dodgy barstards, whos the greedy fuckers now??

indeed, can't believe people are naive enough to think this is about the health of football. all about selling papers. talking about shitting where you eat....

oh well, lets hope southgate, beached manatee bruce, dad dancing pardew, and that squinting little twat eddie howe can also get stitched up. then the FA will have no choice but to make a slightly forward thinking appointment for once.
