CHELSEA AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If it weren't for the whole Wenger fiasco surrounding and overshadowing everything i'd normally be pretty happy with things so far, :rubchin:

Yes it was, he wouldn't be the first of our strikers over many years to miss sitters though

Ok going to get slated here but i'm not unhappy with that half all things considred, it's probably the best we've played at the bridge in a long time and we were definitely on top for at least 25 mins of the half....... roast away

That's about as good as we'll get and haven't scored. The Chavs will pick us off in the second half.

Yeah, the frustrating thing is that there is the makings of a good team in there somewhere. The trouble is under Wenger you know that it is never going to be the finished article.

Well there ya go 0-0 at half time no one was really expecting that to happen.
I think we've played well in the first half.
If the score stays like that hntil 70 mins when Sanchez comes on we might just have a chance.

C'mon you reds :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

There was a time where the thought of missing even a single minute of a match like this would make me stressed. Now, I missed the first 30 minutes and didn't even remember we were playing.

Played well from what I've seen but the amount of missed chances is shocking. I don't expect much from Welwide but Lacazette should be doing better. All set up for a rent boy sucker punch.

The team plays better and more fluidly without Ozil and Sanchez. Difference is Sanchez will get you out of a tight spot when you need it.

This is when management and coaching matters and makes the difference. We haven't got a decent one so that's what will be problem this half.

We are probably the better team...problem is Wenger has ruined my enjoyment of watching Arsenal because the teams success is his success and I HATE that.

Whatever happens now, even if we lose 1 or 2 nil it will be hailed as a brave defeat. That is what Wenger has reduced us to. And tbh he got lucky again with Ozil's injury, can you imagine him loitering around in the midfield watching the game going on around him?
