Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Aren't City just the generic 'linked to' club. Them and Spurs.
Yeah i agree i reckon Valencia let it out to get an extra couple of million out of the deal
Sick of the press linking chavs city and spuds to every fucking player we're interested in :banghead:

Haven't we got a back 4 to sort out first? That Juan Mata seems like an exciting prospect but surely we'd better spend £17m on someone who can strengthen our back-line
So you want Cesc/Nasri to leave and not replace them? Have a word. We're in for CBs as well as Mata

the main reason we need to buy mata, is that he'd have a fucking brilliant song :D

to the tune of prince charming by adam and the ants:

"jaun mata, jaun mata, your defence has someone to be scared of!
don't you ever, don't you ever, stop scoring goals and showing us you're awesome!"

plus everyone could do the hand movements to the dance in the crowd together :D

I thought we would have stopped offering contracts to Nasri, may as well wait until January offer him one then if he doesn't accept just wait until next summer unless there are rules that say we cannot offer a contract to him (though we would be no where near the top offer next summer)

2300: FOOTBALL - The Telegraph reports that Inter Milan and Manchester City will hold talks this weekend over a swap deal involving Carlos Tevez and Samuel Eto'o. Both clubs are playing in the pre-season Dublin Super Cup competition on Saturday and Sunday.

Aguero and eto could be a handy partnership. Mind you they've got nothing on vela and chammy :barscarf:
