Just get Osimhen done. Obviously you never quite know how quickly players will adapt to the Premier League, but the guy has 65 goals from 108 games for Napoli and 21 from 35 for Nigeria. Those are Aubameyang numbers, and at 25 Osimhen is four years younger than he was when we signed him.
£65 million seems a good price.

Dropped a bollock last week and only for Watkins bad miss we probably would have lost that game
3 bollocks to be exact. That last ditch tackle by Saliba on Ramsey only happened because he sold himself in midfield and left the defence wide open. Before that, he passed the ball straight to a Villa player in the final third but nothing came of it. He’s a good defender but evidently has some sort of mental block which leads to some pretty calamitous and unpredictable defending. This proved costly last season against Newcastle. We lost 5 league games last season, shipped 8goals and scored 1 in a game we took the lead. It puts into perspective how tight we are defensively in crucial moments.

Aaron Ramsdale heading back down south !

Arsenal agree a permanent deal with Southampton.

£18 million + £7 million in potential add-ons.

Still finalising the move.

(@SkySportsLyall)
I wish him well, he did make some excellent saves during is time when he was No1 choice and saved us some important points.

If you were Rambo you’d be fücking gutted. Going from being first choice ‘keeper in a team challenging for the title, to being replaced overnight and turned into a sub who never played, to now being in a relegation dogfight with Southampton. I actually feel a bit sorry for him tbh.

As to Saliba and Gabriel, I like them as a Defensive Duo, they work well together. Yes, Saliba is the much better defender but Gabriel has that edge to him which really helps when we are playing against some of the dirty, diving, cheating fuckers....you can tell they both enjoy the physical side of things. Their styles compliment one another.

Also just like a goalie if a defender makes a mistake it stands out much more than when a forward misses an opportunity, because usually another chance will present itself and so they can right the previous error, whereas when defenders to err it can often lead to the opposition scoring a goal.

For me Saliba and Gabriel are the best CB Pairing in the Prem.

Curious as to why we're thinking of spending up to £30m on a reserve goal keeper.

No candle light vigil here, he’s a bang average keeper we should’ve never bought. Eye catching saves aside, Raya is not elite and is too small. The whole gk thing was gross mismanagement and I recall another useless handler called Runnarsson. So much money down the drain after Temu Pep’s ego got in the way and we allowed Martinez to leave.
