Nasri cost us £12.5 million.

Wiltord was either £11 or !3 million.

And Arshavin was £16 or £16.5 million.

It's just that I mentioned Gourcuff as what I thought would be an ideal man if we had to replace Cesc, someone who would do well in our leegue.

hes just saying the viera stuff to wind us up and give there moronic supporters a sense of getting one over on us...its all bollox, no way would paddy have gone there or wanted to.

Unlikely, but not impossible.

His wife though of Guyanan hertage was brought up in London, and if she wanted to return here, and Spurs were the only club to offer him a deal, you just never know.

Wanted to suggest him as a possibility for a while, especially if we can't get Given, as he is a big lad and has looked decent whenever I've seen him - albeit, not that often.

Maybe not as crazy an idea as it seems. Although Chelsea will be able to offer him more money, we'd give him an almost guaranteed first team place. 8) :lol: :lol: :wink:
