You know what I think we should just go back to good old 442

----------------------Schez---------------

Sagna---------kosch----------Verm-----------Gibbs

Santi--------Coquelin------Wilshere----------Gervinho

-----------------walcott--------Pod-------------------

Play on the counter attack. We aren't a good possession team anymore and teams know we are average so let them have the ball and just hit them.

Well to be fair on the old men, he is winning things:
1. He finished second in the group (keep in mind City went out and probably Chelsea will too)
2. He is just one point behind Stoke City, so still in the race
3. He lost only with two goals the home game against a team called Swansea City
So, you can see he is really trying to deliver good result

Cheers,
Thomas

Agree 4-4-2 but no Arteta? Might not be on top form but have you seen us play without him? Also Gervinho anywhere near the football pitch, is that a typo?

Problem is mate, 2 of those players are gone to other clubs in a month (and forehead to Africa) and we will lose the one good counter-attack style player we have (Theo) to a fourth place rival

Stewart Robson with a great interview with Talkshite.

Company man didn't tow the pro-Wenger bullshit and got the sack, it seems.

not that i like tony cascarino, but he has a piece in the mail that says that we should sack Wenger as he is our brian clough - tolerated due to past glories. cloughie (RIP) took em down didn't he ?

which is a fair point - you think ferguson could of hung on at OT with seven years of no trophies and 10th after a third of the season gone ? - didn't that do for dalglish at the scousers, keegan at newcastle ?

The shrinks are still undecided if I will be granted day release for Chrimbo or not. If we are 8 points behind West Brom by 4.45pm Saturday afternoon you wouId be safe to assume I won't be round yours to carve up the turkey, the mother in law and both our basterding peckers as a form of protest against the Club.

I'm going to have to keep an eye on Rodders when he's near the sharp instruments at my "Arsene's contract extension celebration BBQ" next Summer !

One Arsene Wenger, There's Only One Arsene Wenger

I predict a rousing chorus of this in a scrappy 2-1 home win against West Brom this weekend

He's been consistently banging on about how he always honours his contract which means he will undoubtedly, and entirely as expected, be here until the Summer of 2014 at least

If he delivers the Virtual Trophy either this season or next then he'll be here for longer.

Not quite a FACT....but I'm quite prepared to have a bet on it

Robson at long, long last is telling it like it is....I bet he is banned from the bowl for such treacherous behaviour...

It sounds as if wenker really is a despot and rules with an iron fist and anyone who dares say anything against him or the way he runs things is shown the door. In fact it sounds like a 'Cult'....wenker the false guru :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :cussing: :censored:

AW is certainly getting a lot of flak in the press and rightly so.

one article points out today something that i never noticed before - wenger doesn't coach the team during a game...all other managers shout instructions, cajole the team - push up, drop back, get it f@cking wide mickey....etc

same as the formation and subs. he has his game plan and that's that. he sits back and watches the game and bitches to the 4th official.

which is ludicrous, football is a live thing - the other managers coach, change tactics, make subs to change formation etc.

no wonder we're so crap sometimes. :banghead:
