ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So Arsenal will only win based on the Brighton team that turns up!!!!

Give your head a shake.

Oh dear indeed. Its a poor response to your post, which was a really good post of non hysterical pertinent points. This response sadly reminds me of the AKB Wenger cultists that would come on here during the darkest days of his latter era and just call other posters names and question their "loyalty" but not actually offer a coherent counter argument to the posts criticising their lord and master.

Nelson leaving means that we no longer have any players that were part of Wenger’s last squad.

Albeit temporary because it’s a dry loan.
Looking at the window..It's a pity we have two of le bulbeyes former players running the shit show that we've just seen..Arteta and Edu

Yep, the evidence points to us going back to those grim days of fractured support. I’ve a feeling that this is going to be a poor season (fighting for 4th spot and no improvement in our CL achievements) and that will fuel the Arteta “in or out” argument, which will get nasty.

What I can never work out about people making arrogant posts like EC1’s, is that it’s guaranteed to make the poster look like a mug. Given his stance, we would beat Brighton regardless of how well or badly they played. Well, that didn’t fucking happen did it?! Everyone can cry about the Rice sending off…and it was a total piss take…but the bottom line is that we didn’t beat Brighton.

Maybe I’ll try shaking my head again.

Yep, got the same response to one of my posts

You can't debate with these people as the name calling starts. And yes the cultists are creeping back because people are starting to question Diet Pep and Edu.

No way a defence but had we not been robbed a cpl of times last year by VAR/refs...we would have won the league...then how would we feel about arteta, obvious flaws aside?!

This in Monday excuses his favorites and in game management and lack of striker btw.

🚨🇸🇦 EXCLUSIVE: Saudi side Al Ittihad submit proposal in the region of €35m for Leandro Trossard.

Decision up to Arsenal as he’s always been an important player for Arteta.

Official proposal arrives ahead of Saudi Pro League deadline, as Al Ittihad keep looking for new winger.

Can we give them Sterling instead?

Fucking Sterling..... :censored:

Personally I feel sick to my stomach to see a horrible woman bashing little piece of shit in our storied jersey. Add the fact that the tubby girly running little pox bottle is way past his best - and his best was hardly any use - and I'm pretty disgusted by his signing, even on loan.

It's been a poor window.

CliveChenko and Carpark-Foot Partey are still here.

Havertz and Jesus still our only strikers. One is massively inconsistent and the other - when not injured - isn't and never was an actual proper striker.

By selling Smith-Rowe we literally gave away one of the best academy prospects we've produced in the last 20 years. :x

And to cap it all, our new midfielder has promptly done a Kim Källström! :|
Absolutey...and to make it even more sickening the signing we desperately needed (a top quality goalscorer) who in my opinion would have given us a real shot at the titlt was ignored...thats criminal

🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal have informed Al Ittihad about their decision to reject €35m proposal for Leandro Trossard, as exclusively revealed.

He’s considered key player for the project and NOT for sale.

🟡⚫️🇧🇷 Al Ittihad are now targeting FC Porto winger Galeno with an official bid. -Italian guy on Twitter

The word "project" should be banned from football. :censored:

It implies some genius manager and director of football type twat have lowered themselves to come into a broken little club and are completely rebuilding it in their likeness. Fuck off. The Arsenal are not a "project". We are a world renowned football club and were so long before Artedu arrived. :censored:

Yeah, but it really is “the project” and y’know it’s Tets and but, errr, two second place finishes and he sees it every day in training, but you think you know more than he does and errr, we don’t need a proper striker who scores goals, coz Tets knows and errrr………

Oh fuck it, you’re right.

Project is the new buzzword, while I was doing intensive work  into the transfer rumours ,I noticed alot of links with x,y,z players who were interested in clubs A,B,C project,so it's not just an Arsenal thing.

Was particularly funny when you'd read about a player interested in Chelseas project.
