Just watched wenker's pre-Brighton press conference and towards the end he more or less said he isn't going to sign anyone this transfer window....when pressed by the journo - who said (paraphrasing here) But if you don't sign anyone and you fail to attain at least 4th won't fans have real reason to criticise you...and he said Yes.

FFS so it's official he will NOT be signing anyone.

So we don't sign anyone of note, what do we do? I would imagine there would be a major backlash as its basically the club saying, we don't give a fuck where we finish in the league we make loads of money not tying to win

He's afraid of Newcastle. Really. He used them as an example to prove this theory, but what he did is prove his jealousy because they stole all his french players

His reasoning is complete bollocks but I don't agree with the January transfer window. The league was in a fine enough shape with the old transfer system.

The January one's not as bad as when the summer one closes. What is the point of closing the window after the season has been going for 2weeks.
