Happy for Alexis. Chile deserved the win. Higuin huge choke artist. And yeah I meant the game was good because it had great passion and effort and atmosphere

Huguain blazed a penalty over the bar in the last game of Napoli's season too. They called it the 40m euro miss as it cost them a CL place.

Now he's blazed one over in the Copa final

Poor bloke might never take one again

Anyway, delighted for Alexis. At least he'll come back a happy man!

do many people rate pedro?

Alt Madrid sniffing round Santi, I think a new deal should be offered to him to show his worth
He's been in the Barca team for a long time without ever seeming to be first choice. He's very skillful, quite small (sound familiar?) and has decent stats, but, for me, he won't address striker, DM or CB weaknesses, so I can't see why we would want him.

Am a long time opponent of any suggestion that we should buy pedro - he wont fulfil any of our crucial needs and is just another light wide boy and we have enough of them already

Probably out on my own when saying this, but if ath Madrid offered good money for cazorla I would sell - the guy has played well for us (especially last season) but the reality is that he is 30 years old and playing him alongside coquelin leaves us very lightweight in the middle of the field. As I have continually said, I would much prefer to have a big physical dominant play in that position, and then we might also see the best of ozil into the bargain

I see that the metro are smoking wacky 'bac again - http://metro.co.uk/2015/07/04/arsenal-r ... r-5280219/

I like turan as a player but I'm not sure he would work for us - considering that the chavs and the whores are in for him, the likelihood of us signing him is on the same level as me getting to shag mila kunis

I'm with you on Cazorla, had a great 2 seasons and made the most out of injuries last season to be one of the main men but I don't think he would have been a regular starter had everyone stayed fit.

I wouldn't be starting him next year regardless, his inclusion leaves the team unbalanced as it means Ramsey (who would usually be in that spot in the middle) got moved out wide.

Time to bring Ramsey/Wilshere back into the middle or buy a monster to go next to Coquelin, if Cazorla stays he should be made to compete with Ozil for that spot.

would be sad to see Cazorla go but it does free up our overloaded midfield,we must accommadate Ramsey,Jack,Walnut,Ox and play Ozil in his proper position behind the front man.if selling Cazorla achieves this and we get good dollar then as sad as it would be then for me it needs to be done, also we need to fit in our new powerhouse DM whos arrival is imminnet

Forget Higgy - for the 10th time in his career Benzema is coming

I'm sure £17.8m for a guy who plays for one of the leading clubs in the world and scored 22 goals last season will easily be enough :D

Agreed. Anything above £20m and I'd sell. Get Ramsey to play there instead or Wilshere. Spend the extra money on bringing in Marco Reus and getting a hard DCM like Martinez!

Why do people still fool themselves that the money will be spent on the areas we need.

If santi is sold a less skilled and experienced player will be bought to replace him

When you say good, I take it you mean tense rather than the quality.

I've watched it since half time and Chile have been playing all energy, kick and rush football - and fouling every Argentine at every chance.

Argentina, despite having world stars throughout, lack cohesion and quality, so have resorted to slowing the game down and petty fouls.

Can't remember many chances as defence has been on top... as you'd expect with a million fouls in the game

The ref has let both teams get away with murder.

Still, penalities are fun - come on Alexis! :barscarf:

Sounds like the way they played against brazil in the "friendly" at the arsenal earlier this year.

I know piers Morgan is a prick but what he tweeted to van c**ty was brilliant!

In the of 'looks like a little boy inside will have to learn how to scream on turkish'

Also Ian Wright jumped up on stage at a party where Alan Sugar was attending and said to him

'Thanks for everything you've done........for Arsenal' 8)
