That was The Arsenal.
7 Players in the ENGLAND team, playing at HIGHBURY, and beating the World Champions Italy in 1934.
Different times, but we were the biggest and the best at that time.
In London, a Unique Stadium, beautiful shirts... the Bank of England Club.
That's Our History!

Don't want to get into a fascistic rant, so...

Here's the film, in full. Enjoy it again. And again.

It's making me cry. That History!

That was The Arsenal, well on the way to becoming the biggest team on the planet, until the fucking germans came and fucked up our plan of World Domination with one of their own.

Then the decline in the 50s and 60s, with the Hill-Woods and the Bracewell Smiths/Carrs using "their" Arsenal as a Gentlemen's Club, but complete stagnation on the pitch.

Until we had the 70s - where no-one wanted anything to do with football. That's when I moved to England. A brilliant time for football as a youngster. Mental times. Thanks to The Arsenal for integrating me into England. Will never forget that.

In the Eighties fabulous times as a teenager/young adult, many adventures, travelling , etc.

And then the beginning of a new era, where people realised you could make money out of football, and that football had to change.

Sanitation, modernisation, and commercialisation

Stronger police laws and "Modern Football" saw me leave England in the Nineties, and so I watched what has been happening to "my" Arsenal from afar...

The new Clock End was an eyesore, I was disgusted with the new North Bank, but turning Highbury into flats? FFS!
The Emirates. Well, it had to happen. Modern Football. But that would have happened without Wenger. 100%

Wenger has turned the Arsenal into Arsene FC. That is our History now.
This egotistical maniac has changed our Club into his image...a superficial surrender-monkey.

Get this charlatan out of our Club, and install someone with a real vision...

WENGER OUT!

Amazing! Well done all. Look forward to seeing many of you at the protest later on. Does feel like today's match (and protests) will change the long-term direction of the club.

Brilliant. About time some of his ludicrous comments about how well we played this game were highlighted and put back to him.

Fantastic.
