Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Isn't it funny how we can get the Kallstrom deal done within hours yet we dilly dally for months on the likes of Draxler, Higuain etc

who is still going to the Bayern Munich category A match then ?

its ok everyone having a go at Wenger but whilst the sheep continue to flock to the Emirates then you can't really blame him and the board for the way they act. From their point of view there is no need for Arsenal to try and win a trophy - it is too expensive. People fill the Emirates whether we win a trophy or not. thats the bottom line here.

Exactly. Unhappy? Opt out of Bayern!

Yep, because he's always paid the price for his transfer debacles hasn't he?

Wenger's new contract is coming

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
And sadly, that is all that has mattered for the club over the last month.
Fans forget that our reactions are almost the total opposite of the one man who matters in this situation i.e. Stan the Wiggy Man. Fans reaction "he's not signed anyone and now we're going to end up finishing 3rd/4th and not winning anything - Wenger must go"

Kroenke reaction - "he's earned me another guaranteed £25m from next year's Be All and End All, hasn't spent a penny in the window doing it, allows me to push through another ticket price increase because of the Be All and End All - job done. He's made me richer again......now I'll reward him"

If anyone thinks the reality is any different to that and that Wiggy gives a flying fuck what any of us think then you're completely out of touch

Wenger's new contract is as much of a certainty as it was that Draxler was NEVER coming
This. Tragic but unfortunately True :(

It pains me to say it but my arse shall not be placed on a seat in the bowl until he's gone. This will have been the first season since god knows when that I haven't been. Maybe I'm pissing in the wind, but I knocked back a season ticket and refuse to go until he's gone. One voice and all that but doing my bit.

I have a mantra that I am going to share with you, Wenga OUT Wonga IN 8)

Genuine request here but can all the pro wenker and pro board posters please not come on here tonight defending either party ? This isn't my forum so no doubt it is not my place to make this request but have no doubt, this place will undoubtedly go into absolute meltdown tonight and the last thing we need is to have a real serious abusive slagging match that could see this place closed down :( Personally coming on here and venting can be very therapeutic but I don't want to see a situation where Gooners fight with Gooners cos nobody wins then. By all means come on here and post positive and negative stuff but defending either of those on the back of this transfer window performance would be absolute insane

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/foo ... fer-window

Well, Kallstrom must've nearly dropped the phone, once he'd made sure it wasn't a hoax call from a mate. He probably took 0.000005 seconds to say yes.

Gave up my season ticket and my sons season ticket this season and even though I can access tickets still, I will not attend a game at the grove until the senile, incompetent, arrogant, has been c*nt fcuks off back to france and to that rapper b*tch that he was shagging    :censored: :censored: :censored: :cussing: :cussing:

So a player the third best team in Russia are happy to do without is going to propel us to treble glory?

It just wouldn't be a transfer deadline day without Kalou being linked too.

At least that big time dickhead Frimpong has buggered off

Kim Kallstrom was always the player to get early on in Championship Manager 01/02.
