Apparently Ozil has put in a request for a transfer, wenker is trying to keep it quiet - wouldn't that be something - wenker gives up the opportunity to buy Fabregas (world class mid-fielder) because we don't need him...and now we might lose our most skilled player !

He told me not to say anything - but feck it! he still owes me £30....from 2 weeks ago!
And where would he go? Bullshit mate.

Why would it be bullshit ? Most people accept that his body language last season suggested that he wasnt happy/hadnt settled in, and lets acknowledge the fact that he came from a team with several world class players, to a team that had none. Instead of talking specifics or getting into ozil bashing, can we agree that sometimes even the most gifted players dont work out with a team ? Suitability to formation/systems, family not settling in a new country/city and simple things like missing family or friends are all genuine reasons why a player, any player, might not succeed at a new club and ozil might well be one of these situations.

We all hope that ozil comes back to us a rejuvenated player and goes out to be THE outstanding player in the league next season because we all know that he has the ability to do so. However we cannot ignore the fact that, even with his country, he no longer looks the top quality player of 2 seasons ago and he will be as aware of that as anyone. I dont think that he would lob in a transfer request unless he knew of a top club that wanted him (and personally I think that bayern would want him considering the kroos situation) and I'm not sure that I believe the story that he has requested to leave, but I am damn sure that I wont dismiss it as bullshit just cos I dont want it to be true

From an entirely reliable (read into that what you will.. ) ITK

Tommy V off to Man U for somewhere around £11m
Arteta off to Spain or possibly Italy
Carzola has told AW he wants to leave, family can't settle, odd given he signed a new contract recently, AW apparently furious as he would have got Cesc had he known - He doesnt look furious on the beach.

Schneiderlin pretty much done, around £15m
Sanchez talks at advanced stage (been told he will be groomed (!!) to play up front a la Henry was.

I'm almost past caring....

Also heard will switch to 2 forwards next season ahead of an AM, presume the 2 strikers will be Feo and Sanchez if we get him with Özil behind.

Cazorla ain't going anywhere. Don't give a fuck about Arteta or Vermaelen (so long as the latter doesn't get sold to the Mancs ffs).

Liverpool have signed a £25mil player...a team that destroyed us and finished ahead of us in the league.
Citeh have already signed a top class DCM in Fernando (a snip!) and have Mangala all but tied up...and they battered us and won the thing.
Chavs have signed a top class CM in Fabregas (oh but he "couldn't get in our team" hahahahaha) and a top striker that makes Giroud look like....well...Giroud.
Manu are shite but then again their new manager seems to be pretty dam wicked and has won bigger trophies than Lord A-hole. Oh and they've already spent £60mil with more to come.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Copacabana Lord A-Hole is having a candlelit dinner with Loic Remy and Matt Debuchy, ready to reward all those years of shite with...more shite! YAY! :barscarf:

Seems to be lots of truth to Cazorla rumours. I'll die if he ends up leaving after Lord A-Hole turned down Cesc. ROFL

You can put that spin on any transfer "rumour" you read though - not happy, not suited to the formation etc etc.

He did look unhappy last season but don't see him going this summer. He'll probably get sold to City next season.

It's just typical that when Wenger finally signs some world class talent he then turns to shite. Looks a shadow of the player he was for Madrid and Germany in 2010.
Thing is he was always a Hot & Cold player - even at Real, he would be Outstanding for a few games then disappear....

World Class he is - Consistent he isn't .

And as for the rumour about him wanting to leave apparently its Carzola - don't blame me the (so called) friend who works for The Guardian - got it Wrong...which in some ways is a blessing - BUT - it still means wenker let Cesc slip by thinking he'd have enough classy dwarfs in mid-field....AND NOW WE ARE GOING TO BE SHORT - :rubchin: I mean shorter....

This really is depressing.......we have a manager who is no longer able to do the job - and what happens they give him a wage rise, a contract extension, a free holiday in Brazil - where he just happens to earn even more just for talking nonsense in french - while all the other prem managers are signing the best available talent.

"from my experience, the World Cup years have always been very quiet until the end of the World Cup, with no players reachable. Everybody is focused in the country on their national team and there’s not a lot happening. People are away.

“I believe this year again you will have to wait until July 15 to start going.”

Arsene knows...

Any manager worth his salt would not be behind his desk dealing with agents in July, but cavorting on a Brazilian beach in his budgie smugglers.
In between appearances on French TV regaling viewers with opinions on players he almost signed.

Chelsea, City, United and Liverpool have signed players while the world cup is still going on and here we are Arsenal fans keep talking about transfer rumors of this and that player. And let's not forgetting our beloved leader is out there enjoying himself on a sunny beach in Brazil. Some things never changed.

Not calling you a bs-er,just never heard of a journo sitting on a story that's such dynamite.

Oil's body language at the wc is just as poor. If he has handed in a transfer request and he is allowed to go after just one year, then that would be ridiculous.

Personally I didn't see the point in the buy last year, beyond a boost to the squad of a classy player. Think he should be told it is not happening but if he puts in a season of showing the class he has, then he can get his move.
