El C***o has done it again! None of the big strikers anywhere are for sale! Why? Well...errrm...because they're not walking in the street with "For sale" signs and are "under contract at big clubs".
So I therefore take it Robin Van Persie was loitering around the Trafford Centre with a "For sale" sign around his neck? And that he somehow wasn't under contract too right?
Aaaah now it's starting to make sense. I think I know how we got Sanogo! Loitering in the street with a "for sale" sign around his neck. Not under contract, filthy and covered in his own faeces. Good ol Arsene bright him in from the cold!
He must think Arsenal fans are the biggest tards in Europe. Actually he's about to get a new deal and is under zero pressure so maybe Le Trou du Cul has a point....
Its also the manner in which he allows it to happen. The pundits write us off, and he proves them right every time. He is so weak and allows the likes of Alan Shearer, Tony Gale, Mark Lawrenson and other Arsenal haters to be proven right. Doesnt he have any desire to show up Jose? Jose gets sacked this season, and he has a chance to go on and win the league, yet the past 6 weeks Wenger has been very passive, both in the transfer market, and on the sidelines. He doesnt make changes early, its always around the 60th or 70th minute, and its a like for like replacement (Theo on for Campbell, Coquelin on for Flamini), he never changes formation. So it really is the same old sh..
Although the main issue is mentality, rather than tactics. He is too weak and passive.
I think it was 4 years ago we done fuck all in the transfer window. Next day we drew home to Bolton. This place went into meltdown and had to be closed. Same situation if not worse now coz we genuinely had/have a great chance of winning the league and now with news of Guardiola going to shitty with an open cheque book well it ain't looking good for the next few years.
No meltdowns, no killing sprees (just Augie willing to chip in on stuff which he would do in the event of a quadruple anyway ). Just the realisation and acceptance of this shite french surrendering coward who is afraid to put his bollox on the line and be judged. Congratulations u win Arsene - there was indeed no one available to sign because no one approached u in the street or knocked on ur door. The one person that was available it seems is not even better than captain pointsalot (who did knock on ur door).
If u think about it our best signings over the last few years probably were a knock on the door job ie Sanchez, Cech and Ozil.
Christ's balls.
“If you know a world-class striker who could strengthen our team you should have told me before the transfer window was over. They do not walk in off the street and say please take me. They are all at big clubs and under contract."
Like van Persie?
Pretty sure we got Henry rom Juve, are they not a "big club"?
Why must he continuously trot this sort of horseshit out? Rhetorically asking a journalist to find him a striker as if they're some mythical creature which can only be procured under certain astrological alignments really pisses me off; but it seems to be his current favourite journalistic fuck-off.

Berk.
Isn't finding the right players a huge part of your job, you utter *word censored*? Honestly, just fuck off.
We are on top,and have been for 20 years, he said so last night. We are not top of the league but we are top. He equates top 4 with being "top". The only thing that truly worries this man is falling out of top 4 or not getting to the KO stages of the CL. Do you see him really get agitated about anything else??? He worries about the things that threaten Stan's view of HIM, about the things that threaten HIS personal rewards. The rest of us can go swing.
I don't know why Wenger even goes on about getting big strikers from big clubs, there are several more strikers in England who score goals way more than our dross.
Oh and he said that he was angry, never said he was angry with his players, just angry that they put in so much effort for no reward. He sounded angry for his players, not angry at them.

He was angry with the ref according to the article. There's a first huh?
He moves the goal posts to define success. If we regularly finished in the top 2 every year but never won it. He would cite a top 2 as success. Its only that 4th was the base of our achievements that he started the long campaign to convince the masses and media that 4th was a success, as well as the group stage of the champions league. Again, if we made the champions league but never got out of the group stages, just participating would be a success.
Its not that he sees 4th place and the round of 16 as a success, thats just his level so he moves the goal posts to align with what he delivers. If we finish in the top 5 this year, he will spin it as a success.
His unwillingness to accept nothing but the top as success, has filtered thought the club, creating the losers mentality that has been in display in the last month.
He doesn't understand how damaging his citing of 4th place as a 'success' has been on the club. The psychology of complacency is riff at Arsenal. Why push yourself to finish 1st, when you can drop out of the fight and still be pat on the back by finishing 4th?
The mans a fool. And our position is indicative of our quality of players, as opposed to Wenger's management. Maurcio and Claudio - now they are two managers who can take credit for thier teams position. But Wenger thinks he deserves a pat on the back for managing some of the best players in Europe and England into 4th place?

He didn't say that last night, just kept going on about the effort for no gain and that made him angry.

Read the article, he lashed out at the ref, then him & Koeman had words. A great manager, a gracious loser & a real charmer...that's our Arsene.
It's February and of course time for our seasons demise under Wenger....
Well as far as the league goes ....
CL, well we all know what's going to happen re Barca as we quite simply haven't enough WC players to do them over 2 legs.
FA Cup? Love us to win it for 3rd in a row, and yes why not? But this time (if it happens) it won't be a sad Villa or a Hull in the final, it
Will more likely be the Spuds, Citeh, Mancs or the Scouser's
Ok, ok we're still 4th hurrah! But as someone above said, we had/have a great chance of the title in this so crap season (in terms of
Consistently under performing teams, what 'normal' season would have seen Leicester up there, United soooo bad, chelskis delightful but unbelievable plight and citehs late start well.....yeah til now, but now pellegrini has lifted the weight from his shoulders, that's been burdening him, it'll be a land slide finish I fear.
And now with the real insult of Spurs really standing a good chance of top four and cheekily above us.
Oh sorry, we did buy someone to strengthen didn't we? What was his name again? Poor sod
It's his arrogance as us knowledgable ones have been saying, he simply thinks he knows best - HE DOESNT and after all these years, he's sooo Fn predicatable.
I've wanted him gone for years and God help us if he gets another contract extension before the season ends.
Look I'm an optimist and AW has turned me into a pessimist as far as football hopes go
Well done for what you've done for us, but goooooooooo PLEASE
