THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
is Stan even aware how his manager is deluded, or does he just not care? Given all his USA teams are badly under performing, probably will just stick by the TOF. Stan, my man, you are the only person that can make a change, do it.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
its been obvious to me for about 4 years now that whilst the season ticket holders renew their tickets then the cycle of despair will continue. as there are enough season ticket holders to keep giving Kroenke £1k + each summer the current scenario will continue indefinitelyGTG wrote:If he does sign a new deal then my motivation to spend my hard earned following the club will be gone. I don't care what that makes me I just can't justify it any more when over the course of a season you know how its gonna play out before it happens because you've seen it all before. You wouldn't keep on paying cinema prices to see the same film over and over again which is essentially what your doing supporting Arsenal by attending matches![]()
We have a group chat with about 8 of us Gooners in it and literally theres 4 of us that want him gone and 4 that make excuse after excuse for why we don't compete for the big prizes. As nice as these chaps are im struggling to even want to socialise with these people now because they're holding the club back by backing Wenger constantly as they do. I mean that first half yesterday the players just strolled about like it was a meaningless mid table game.... it took them 60 minutes to finally get moving and when they did we shoulda scored 4...... A proper motivated manager would send those players out with a rocket before every game now because theyre that important. Its just so obvious that there is a totally relaxed atmosphere running through the entire club and im sick of it.

Have to say that I have a few friends and customers who are Gooners and I refuse point blank to discuss any football with any of them when they start to defend the French c.unt - I have gone so far as to walk away from them when they start talking about them and I make no bones about telling them that I refuse to listen to any of their bullshit

I engaged my window licker last night, I do it after every debacle just to torture myself that little bit more. Anyway all is still well in la la land because the texts I got back read as follows -augie wrote: Have to say that I have a few friends and customers who are Gooners and I refuse point blank to discuss any football with any of them when they start to defend the French c.unt
"we only need 2 players for next season - top striker and defender, the boss will have a new rival in Pep - bring it on"
and
"the bank balance is healthy, another money spinning double header v barca before we crash out and another year at least of le prof to come. happy days"
Already talking up next season

Set yourself free, I was calling for Wenger to go after losing to Man U in the CL semi final, the final straw was the league cup final loss to Birmingham, gave up my season ticket at the end of that season, have attended a handful of games since and I hardly miss it at all, after all you can watch all the game on tv now.GTG wrote:If he does sign a new deal then my motivation to spend my hard earned following the club will be gone. I haven't been once this season and was actually offered a ticket for last and despite my rule of not giving the club money directly while TOF is in charge I was tempted, however in the end I decided not to and boy was I glad, trust me the anger and disappointment goes a lot quicker when you can just turn the tv over.

The exact same thing went through my mind last night! Think it was around the 70th minute mark when we were huffing and puffing but going nowhere in a hurry and I thought to myself -The Knowing One wrote: I haven't been once this season and was actually offered a ticket for last and despite my rule of not giving the club money directly while TOF is in charge I was tempted, however in the end I decided not to and boy was I glad,

Best decision I've made and I won't set foot in the place until the prick is gone.

Its probably just as well I don't attend in person these days, just looking at Wally Wallcott's face makes my blood boilrodders999 wrote:The exact same thing went through my mind last night! As for the twat with 'In Arsene we Trust' banner

I'm not sure I could contain myself
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I think United away will be my last this season and next year the occasional away will do. Like you I don't want to give the club anymore money whilst Wenger is in charge because a) none of its spent on players unless they come knocking at our door which he has now admitted and b) because I really cant deal with players like Walcott taking £140k a week home.... its criminal. The Knowing One wrote:Set yourself free, I was calling for Wenger to go after losing to Man U in the CL semi final, the final straw was the league cup final loss to Birmingham, gave up my season ticket at the end of that season, have attended a handful of games since and I hardly miss it at all, after all you can watch all the game on tv now.GTG wrote:If he does sign a new deal then my motivation to spend my hard earned following the club will be gone. The manner of those CL defeats really hurt me, United were a quality side back then but they totally took the piss out of us..... but bizarrely the moment that really turned me against Wenger was against West Brom away in 2011 when Almunia and Squillachi ran into each other. It was at that point where I thought regardless of whether we had money to spend or not (I believe there was plenty there) No other top club or manager would have 2 clowns like that continually turning out for them and that was the moment that turned me big time. Problem is you just keep paying and supporting but nows the time to stop

It would be interesting how far everyone on here would go in terms of replacement to get rid of le cock, I'm not talking the obvious likes of Pep, Simeone, Ancelotti, but the unproven, the unloved and the downright shite
Starting with last nights opponents I would dance around the room if we got Koeman and yes I would take Jose and uneasy as that makes me feel
But what about Pardew, Allardyce, Pulis!! just how far would go to get rid

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
After chucking the title in 2008 that we were odds-on to win after that Brum Gallas debacle and not signing a new striker in the Jan window when the Barndoor was playing like a total arse hole, I saw the light and jacked in the ST. Last game I attended oddly enough was that CL final against MU where Gibbs slipped like the pillock he is, and Almunia let in a 40-yard daisycutter from Ronaldo at his near post. Never seen so many fans walk out of a CL SEMI after half an hour!rodders999 wrote:The exact same thing went through my mind last night! Funny thing is I consoled myself that night by saying "at least mediocre shite like Wenger and Gibbs and brainless crocks like Wankpot won't be around a few years from now"
Fast forward 7 years and Wenker is on the verge of a new deal, Gibbs is somehow a £60k a week professional left back and Mr Motormouth Wankpot is on £140k a week.

Mark Hughes is an interesting one, he has improved Stoke's style, or so the pundits reckon. The Knowing One wrote:It would be interesting how far everyone on here would go in terms of replacement to get rid of le cock, I'm not talking the obvious likes of Pep, Simeone, Ancelotti, but the unproven, the unloved and the downright shite

He would certainly shake up a few of our prima donnas, the key obstacle would be the current board.
They are too comfortable with Wenger's reluctance to spend not much more than the cost of a second hand car on a player, they would shit their pants if a manager actually demanded money to spend.

Wenger post match interview....
"We started a bit nervous mainly because we lost at home last game".....WTF!!!!!!
is it not up to him tp motivate and prepare these players from the start
This is utter madness, how the fuck does he get away with it.... i fucking give up now...BOLLOX to it

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I remember us losing at home to Swansea a few seasons ago, and Wenger said "we were fatigued due to our midweek CL game". When the reporter pointed out that the other English sides in the competition had not had the same problem, his response was "well, that's my answer". In other words, I am beyond questioning, no matter how ludicrous my post match comments are. The man is a grade A wanker, and how anyone could have an ounce of respect left for him is beyond me.Redarmy wrote:Wenger post match interview....

It's amazing how often past results, sometimes from years back, can effect current performance according to Le W.ank Pot especially as our mental strength is beyond question
