THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I'm sure the 'Chinese phenomenon' is going to be his next excuse - the recession, rich owners 'doping' clubs, the breakdown of FFP, the debt on the stadium, having to accept lower commercial deals to fund the stadium.....dee dum dee dum dee dum. As every single one of those hurdles has been knocked over, the Chinese and their 'new money' will be the latest concern for the amateur economist. I'm sure £8.5m a year until 2020 will take the edge off the angst though

What is ironic and frankly nauseating is the FACT that he Does NOT Buy players and yet he says something like that....Wenger you tightwad spiv cuntt.northbank123 wrote:Chinese clubs splurging silly amounts on average players has given Wenger all the excuses he needs to avoid signing players.
The fool is claiming that we need extra ticket money as the frankly absurd increase in TV money is needed for signing extra players. And presumably for giving perennially underperforming managers new bumper deals.

WHAT FUCKING TRANSFERS?
We already have £80m+ in reserve which he refuses to spend, how much more do we need to stockpile?
I foresee another invoice in the summer from Stan's other company, this time £10m for services rendered.
The part I like best is where he says "we are a company"..............f.ucking c.unt doesn't give two f.ucks about the football and only see's himself as a financial controller in a business![]()

And I wont wish him dead (), but when he does eventually go I will organise the mother of all parties and it will make steve o's bbq look like an old dears tea party

In fairness if the money being talked about in Chinese football is true then why would he stay with us, he could earn twice his wage with a club over there.SteveO 35 wrote:I'm sure the 'Chinese phenomenon' is going to be his next excuse - the recession, rich owners 'doping' clubs, the breakdown of FFP, the debt on the stadium, having to accept lower commercial deals to fund the stadium.....dee dum dee dum dee dum. I might forgive the Chinese for buying all the future great players if he does indeed go over there to manage.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I know what you mean - I went into my local Chinese takeaway last night - I ordered Number's 3, 20, 23 and number 7...and they brought out something called balswood legs, an angry italian dish that kept pointing everywhere, an injured limping chicken with a surprised look on its face and something in a leg brace called super tom...I asked why Number 4 was taking so long and they said they had now banned that dish as it was so slow in the heat of the moment......LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:Definitely the chickenDB10GOONER wrote:What did you have - Schezuan chicken or the extra hot Hoisin sauce?LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:I blame the Chinese![]()

And as the Chinese are to blame for potentially buying all the best players in the future I'm going to boycott my local take away, that'll teach em![]()

That list isn't up to date though, with Giroud and Walcott's ridiculous wage rises last summer

He'd rather overpay the average-to-decent we have than pay for true quality. We've wasted millions in wages on crap.

Why do you look at me?!?robbo10 wrote:I'd love just ONE journo to ask him why he mentions "Mental Strength" after most games when we all know his team has fuck all mental strength,I'd love to see the wanker squirm because he knows he's a fraud,he gets such an easy ride by the press in this country, imagine the spanish press if he joined Real Madrid and inevitably got found out, they'd destroy him.

How many games have you managed?

Look, stop that story or we stop the press conference

What a c

Now he is warning Gaurdiola of the 'competitiveness' of the premier league.
He really does love the sound of his own voice.
Wenger doesnt even have control of his own destiny, yet he warns others who regularly best him.
Im sure Gaurdiola can warn Wenger of the dangers of playing a high-line without a hard working midfield working as one unit to close down opposition midfielders.
What amazes me most about Wenger, is his constant failure hasn't humbled him or made him rethink his methods, and he seems resolute in his belief he is a football oracle.
I dont say this lightly or in a joking manner, but Wenger is mildly delusional.

So the Manchester derbies will be interesting next season eh?
Pep at Citeh
Maureen at ManYoo
Possibly Simeone at Chelski (or Conte)
Klopp with a clear out at Liverpool.
Meanwhile, over at Deadbeats FC....
"Who would you replace him with"? Enters its 13th consecutive year of inertia and shite.
Next season is going to be more impossible than ever to win the league. In fact make that the next 3 years...

Until he decides he had had enough of £8 MILLION pounds a year, we are stuck with him
All this shit about replacing him is pissing in the wind
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wengers never gonna win the prem again Im afraid.
Next season hes up against Pep, Mourinho, Klopp not to mention Pulis, Koeman, Hughes, Pochetino.
Yea, "Just go out and play your game" that should do it.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I was watching a documentary recently on the Invincibles season, and I had forgotten we signed Reyes during the January transfer window that season. In 2004, in a season when we were unbeaten, we signed someone for 10.5 million in January. Contrast that with this season, in which January has proved we clearly needed signings, and yet in a time in which the club is awash with money, we spent 5 million on an Egyptian who is struggling to get a place in the team ahead of Flamini. It really shows that back then Wenger had clear hunger to win things , and now he has become a loser who knows that when the title challenge goes up in smoke, he can fall back on the 'achievement' of a top four finish.

Guardiola said this week that when he met AW, TOF was always calm and at peace with himself, irrespective of the position his team were in.
Clearly delusional.
