Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If they did I wonder would agents get paid double time

I'd imagine deals can be made on Sundays no problem but would need rubber stamping by premier league on work days :?:

Exactly what we need a dirty little bastard to get stuck in and ruffle feathers. Can play a bit too. Has done well where ever he's been. Wenger probably wouldn't want him coz he might upset the injured Diaby :banghead:

get Barton, Jageilka and Cahill and I might start to believe that we can kick on and perhaps win the Carling Cup this year.

The word is that both Phil Jagielka and Gary Cahill will be announced as Arsenal players before the week’s out.

I think it's going to happen, as gooner ed is on Gazidis payroll, and knows what's going on...

If you add in Mata, Benzema, Campbell and Oxlade-Chamberlain then we can start competing for the title again.
The doubt would remain at left back though, if both Gooner.Ed's signings are confirmed it might suggest Vermaelen will be tried at left back which would be a gamble?

Both are not my first choice signings, but at least they are defenders.
Fingers crossed. :?

I think that's the reason signings aren't announced on a Sunday. I would hazard a guess that there aren't many solicitors who work Sundays either.

Also payments of that size wouldn't go "real-time" to other companies but would still be same day transfers

Wasn't Gooner Ed the source of the reliable "Cesc is off to Madrid" story...or was that someone else at Gooner Towers.

Honestly Quartz, you're a sensible bloke mate - if more than 1 of Jagielka, Cahill, Mata, Benzema, Campbell or Ox join us - I'll buy a beer every home match of the season.

Not a fucking chance pal

Adam Le Fondre - now that's another story :D
