THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thank you Arsene for six wonderful years, but its time to go.

you can't manage anymore, your tactics are insensible and the team has lost confidence in you.

go now please.

And I hope every twat who, after 17 minutes, sang "There's only one Arsene Wenger" takes a long hard look at themselves and question why they are desperate for the man to continue taking £7.5million a year whilst delivering humiliation on a regular but increasing basis.

I don't think any manager with a shred of self-respect would continue to be so pig headed and stay in the job after losing to Bradford. Staying in the job would be a joke to both Wenger himself and Arsenal Football Club - to more of an extent then we are already.

If it was Fergie at United, he would resign - I don't doubt that. If it was Benitez he would be sacked, Rogers would be sacked, Mancini - sacked. You get the picture. The only thing that can happen for the best is that he walks as he won't be sacked.

The man never has any self-decency to accept that he's failed in any way. Always credit to so-and-so, they were brilliant. Never "well looking at it Jeff, playing Gervinho as a sole striker might not have been a brilliant idea".

I can't believe one person can make me change my feelings about them so much.

The season is over with only our trip to WHL and HOPEFULLY HOPEFULLY HOPEFULLY (but not probably) Wenger's resignation that really matter.

Expecting him to jump without being pushed is like expecting Hitler to resign in 1944 and beg von Hindenburg to take the Chancellorship back. The man is a dictator.

Looking at it objectively, the earliest we can reasonably hope for the clueless cretin to go is after we have no realistic chance of winning anything. Two down already in the league and league cup but once we're out of the FA cup and Chumps League, I think then may be the time as the media will be fully on board the bandwagon by then. So, Swansea will probably do a number on us and then any of the teams in Europe will smash us, leaving late February- early March as the most likely time for his removal. That is unless I wake up tomorrow and he's gone. Sorry, just spotted two pigs flying past....

One of the lowest points in my Arsenal supporting life tonight. The defeat? Nope, not that. It was when the window lickers sang his name when we went one down.

Jesus fucking wept :banghead:
