As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Barca want 30m for him and arsenal will pay that amount.
Now he doesn't say where he got his info so could be bullshit as is most of this thread.
I read le-grove everyday and do enjoy it, but 2 or 3 weeks ago he stated that we had turned down cesc cos we had agreed a huge transfer and it was to be announced the following week.............
Signing Debuchy is an excellent start to the summer spending.
Established PL player, a fixture in the French side. Ambitious player.
Would rather have Sanga, but a really sound replacement.
i think most bloggers were bullied at school, they all seem wallow in the smugness of their own self importance. Nothing worse than those who proclaim to be "in the know" but in fact know sweet FA.
Dilly dally while all the other teams do their business
Sounds like it's a done deal, reminds me of the done deal for Higgy when Sky said their sources told them the deal was nearly finalised. That was almost a year ago to the day.

Sauce is a small catalan newspaper, es sport, of dubious accuracy. Most likely planted by mes que une c**ts to push the victims at Klanfield into handing over the cannibal for money+hubcaps+sanchez.

This Alexis Sanchez business is a real test case for me, clearly Barcelona are happy to let the player go they will want to get as much as they can of course but would probably be willing to accept around £25m-£30m. The player seemed to want to come to us a preference and Barcelona are looking to do a quick deal, so what the problem?
The question is of course rhetorical coz we all know what or who the problem is, so I could well see this not happening, I don’t think Balotelli was ever going to happen and Porto will want too much for Jackson Martinez, Mandzukic will go to Wolfsburg and I bet we even end up losing Remy could we’re too cheap.
So it will be Joel Campbell and we’ll probably end up resigning Bendtner
As for Debuchy at £12m I was going to say I can’t see Wenger paying that for a 29 year old right back, but £12 is right in his comfort zone, he’s payed that for crap players before, there is quite is list of them.
Yes the Sanchez deal is a test case but I think for another reason.
It's obvious Mes que une want the cannibal and even though he sounds like Sanchez would rather stay, Barca want their buck-toothed racist really badly, so unless Brenda is off his nut he will demand a swap plus cash deal.
MQU will want us to bid as high as possible for Sanchez so the money they hand over is relatively small. The problem they have is that so far the only publicised interest are the tightest fisted lowballers in European football. They need a bidding war which gives more cash or reduces the amount they have to pay in readies for Cannibal.
So over to you you PSG,Manure,Shitty and Juve. Time to start comparing wallet sizes for a little Chilean dynamo.
Where do people expect Sanchez to fit into the Arsenal 11? If we're talking about signing players that aren't a priority, wouldn't this be one of them?

He's not best suited for the lone striker role but is good enough to play it very effectively for most of the year imo. He would also be great out wide rather than trying to convert a striker or midfielder like Podolski or Cazorla out there.

But it looks like we may be losing Santi - and if IF that does happen, with Le Cock having passed on cesc - Then we will have a vacancy for a skilled attacking mid-fielder...besides just having Sanchez AND Ozil in the same team - would make Rodders and quite a few others cum in their pants!
