amazing all these Brexiters are still bragging how the economy is still going up etc etc etc.

probably because the UK is still in the EU - there will probably be a little blip when we actually trigger article 50, and then again I am not expecting much change.

2 years time when we actually formally leave then you will start to see the signs of decline, it will probably be a slow decline, but decline we will.

At the moment in these days PRE BREXIT it is a bit like Arsenal in pre season saying that they are top of the league because the club starts in A

Hate to say it guys but i can remember some on here saying if we voted to leave the world would end immediately!

Kind of embarrassing that you are now throwing back at us the fact that Brexit hasn't happened yet but when the leavers used that same reasoning earlier in this thread to argue against the doom-mongering it was seen as an excuse and that the end of everything was just round the corner

Well that was based on us leaving the EU or at the very least enacting article 50. Who would have thought 8 months after the referendum we have only just decided when to leave, and a have a broader idea as to what the strategy will be.

Before the referendum there was propoganda on both sides. For every comment you have on the Economy from Remain you have the Brexiteers battle bus. It's going to cost £60 billion to leave the EU and that £285 million a week saving isn't going anywhere near the NHS.

Yet you look at the protagonists in the campaign, Cameron and Osborne fell on their Swords. Yet Boris Johnson one of the biggest liars throughout the campaign is now a cabinet minister.

So again I revert to my earlier comment nothing has changed, yet.............

I find it highly amusing that the pre referendum doom and gloomers have now changed their tune.
This includes various think tanks. The governer of the Bank of England. And all the other pro EU bodies who promised an immediate recession/apocalypse on the back of a Leave result.
These same people are now more worried about the health of the EU after Brexit takes effect.
Those people who are saying "ah, but we haven't actually left yet, and when we do then we will be in the shit" are grasping at straws.

I'm having a pop at all those who predicted an immediate recession etc in the event of the referendum result going against their wishes. These people saw into the future and stated, as fact, that we would be totally buggered. Immediately. I can see the irony
Some of the doom and gloomers won't admit they were wrong. They maintain that the apocalypse hasn't happened yet, but it will on the day we leave the EU.
