Who does Nobody play for? I’m excited to see him. :barscarf:

Evan Ferguson available for sale now apparently

I mean heaven forbid we'd be held to ransom for a permanently injured kid who has achieved fuck all!

So Arteta reckoned he could get away with it yet again when we had nobody up front? Did he honestly think hat Jesus was going to be good enough to win the league for us? Fucking ridiculous. Fucking hell. That in itself is fucking sackabale.

After Jesus himself got injured- three fucking weeks ago- he didn't have a fucking clue who to get in. Nobody, no fucking idea. Just goes back to a few names that we didn't get in last summer when we had the chance. It's fucking negligent, Wankeresque nonsense. Pure fucking 2008-18 shit. Scratching around making half-hearted attempts at impossible signings that the whole world knows won't happen. Then just looking at a list of players and asking "Do any of these support Arsenal?" It's fucking pathetic, directionless, mismanagement. Two years ago, this should have been sorted, last summer this should have been fixed and now after a whole fucking month of doing nothing, we're pretending that we're trying to get someone that we could have got for half the price three years ago. The fucking negligence, the sheer fucking stupidity and lack of ambition from someone whose only driving force should be to identify players that can improve the club and win trophies. It's shameful, absolutely fucking shameful that we're a few days away from another disaster of a transfer window thanks to this fucking idiot. Two days away from playing Cheaty at home, we should be looking forward to a home debut for a world class striker and we'll have that clueless bottle-job Havertz missing sitters and heading it wide for two yards out. Fucking pathetic. Fuck off Arteta.
What gets me is that for ages now (years) hes been saying we dont need a striker hes happy with what we had...despite a lot of pressue...now all of a sudden hes trying to sign one...and just think hes going to get a dud....

Anyone would think he dont know what hes doing :D
Trolley dash incoming :banghead:
I don't even see that, to be perfectly honest. We're completely fucked and it's all down to Arteta. No excuses. He's fucked it up for two years now and anyone decent who was an option then has just laughed at the fact that he played Nketiah rather than get them in or has moved somewhere else. If he wanted Isak, he should have got him last summer, if he wanted Ollie Watkins, he should have got him 18 months ago. The moment either of those was an option, Nketiah should have been sold for whatever we could have got. He knew he was short last July and did fucking nothing then got that fat useless piece of shit Sterling in. It's fucking horrendous mismanagement and now, here we are, two years down the line from it being obvious we needed a striker and ringing around to find anyone who might be interested and there's nobody. Fucking nobody. Might as well look at who's scoring goals in league one or two and offer £8 million for a 12 month deal.
Looking at it there doesnt seem to be any long term plan around transfers...just seems to be panic buying

I'm starting to think more and more that our entire transfer strategy is run by a small group of IT people that place those online surveys on websites that footballers might look at. Those kind of quiz/surveys that you do when you're bored and which tell you that you're personality type is unfriendly/murderous/grudge-bearing etc. Our one probably asks whether they like cats or dogs, the beach or countryside, cinema or garden, fish or birds, Chinese or Indian for dinner and then when they get the results, it says "You're personality type is 'in goal for Arsenal' or 'in central midfield for Arsenal'. Call this number now."

Mathys Tel on loan with an option to buy wouldn't be the worst thing we could do.

Spurs seemingly trying to sign anyone but no one wants to join them 😆

Meanwhile we just do fvxk all 🙄

I know Havertz isn't the striker we all want but if he picks up an injury, we literally have no fit 'strikers'.

Surely we have to get someone in?, otherwise we're just going to play Havertz into the ground.

ATM Jason Ayto isn't making himself look like the guy to take over from Edu unless he pulls something unlikely together.

Not going to happen, united will buy him outright whilst we cheap out hoping for a loan, so unless he refuses them we are stuffed.

Typical Arsenal. No complete drive for one or two players. Just a half interested scatter gun approach. That is why invariably end up with cast offs from Chelsea in the final knockings. The equivalent of picking up an out of date Rustler’s burger from a petrol station shop.

Turns out grappling in the box is a penalty, who would've thunk

Forest 7 -0 Brighton.

That should wipe the smirk off the Brighton manager's face

Thé problem is, we DO have a long term transfer strategy and that is the issue!!!
Arteta really wants Sesko, 21 yo, could be a future great, might not be as well. But it feels like all the eggs are in the Sesko basket so we don't want to spend much on another striker (that we do actually need)!!
Arsenal actually have no short term strategy, no vision that says we could actually won something this season if we sign a striker and a winger now.
In the summer, whatever we offer for Sesko, Chelsea will bid 20m more, because that's what they do and then we are really fucked!
