THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
For someone who is desperate to win the CL, and whose time is running out, he has a funny way of going about it.

Has he set another record yet for most consecutive last 16 exits ?

Think Wenger has already registered his NO vote in the EU referendum. Exit from the Europe powerhouse beckons.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Come out in the press & ctiticised his team. He NEVER does that.... so it just shows that this is where he sees himself, a big manager on the big stage. He never gets this upset, but instead makes all manner of excuses, when we under perform in the league or FA cup. AND he will be sending a full strength side to the Nou Camp "We are Arsenal FC and you can never say we have no chance". Well listen up.... WE HAVE NO CHANCE!! But hey you know best right?
Worst fears realised, all eyes on the 2nd leg, glorious failure at the very least. And when that humbling is over, the FA cup & the league will be gone. Time for a gentle unbeaten run, a smiling, happy end to the season, a new contract for our main man,all eyes turn to the Euro's and the fact that we don't sign anyone goes unnoticed

I believe even David Moyes in his one season of comedy failure at ManYoo managed to eclipse Wenker's 6 pathetic years of failure.MrT wrote:SteveO 35 wrote:Has he set another record yet for most consecutive last 16 exits ?

Remember though, there's not really anyone to replace him with and besides, all the fans there really just "enjoyed the occasion" and were "just happy to be there". Bit like those Shrewsbury fans on Monday night

Oh and remember, THIS is why big players want to join Arsenal. "It's for nights like these", you know the ones...when Arsenal confirm to the rest of Europe they're a club with no ambition, no quality and far short of the elite standard required. Yep Higuain, Reus and Hummels knocking on Arsene's door to "make themselves available" as we speak!

I know people are slating him for negativity with his 95% comments, but anybody who actually thinks we have a 1 in 20 (or better) chance of progressing need to be sectioned.
Nice to have a bit of honesty for once actually, although sadly he won't just chuck the second leg as he should.

Yes, he won't because we have to be seen to be competing in the Champions League, even though in reality we're only taking part.northbank123 wrote:I know people are slating him for negativity with his 95% comments, but anybody who actually thinks we have a 1 in 20 (or better) chance of progressing need to be sectioned.
