As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bearing in mind his utterly shite attitude toward us when with Leeds United, would you put David O'Leary on a core?
Personally, I'd say no. I've had no complaints about any players picked yet though. Looks excellent.
Only concern... if they're made of a mesh/fabric, surely they'll rip easily in heavy wind or when away fans chuck broken bottles at them?
Interesting.
So you and Charlie! Charlie! would happily leave out a one-club player (something which Tony Adams regularly gets lauded for) and our all-time appearance holder for The Arsenal?

Controversial.
More for what happened since he was a player to be honest. And TA6 will always be a bigger star as he was a skipper, and had more success (bad timing on DOL's part really).
In the same way, it'll be interesting to see if Stapleton is on it.
I don't care what O'Leary has done since he left Arsenal
Say it loud the guy is an Arsenal legend and gave his all for this club we love, i for one would be very disappointed if the club fail to recognise the achievement that is going to take some surpassing.
O'Leary as an Arsenal player deserves to go up no matter what has been said or done since. 700+ games for the club and some want him omitted....
The tears at Anfield '89 with him hugging the trophy is a picture I will never lose in my mind....the guy worked his butt off as a player....and must go up.

What if he'd won the title with sp**s, coming running down holloway road with the trophy, telling us to "fuck off back to south London"?

O'Leary should go up as he did stick with us when we went through a rough patch unlike Brady and Stapleton in the early '80's. Plus for some one who's tried to distance himself from the club, I can't understand why all his medals are in the club museum?
