THE NORTHBANKBREN TV SHOW THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Still, I guess in Britain it won't get a serious look in while the dumb and dumber shows rule the box.
Just watched the final two episodes...and cried during the final episode.

I watched this and thought it gave people another viewpoint into what is often perceived the other way around. However, that is not something I wish to enter on here, just yet

Very good but like Marc said, sad final episode.

Recently I have had little time, but watch the odd episode of these.
Still an excellent watch after 30 years.

I watched a bit of one of these, when I was... errrmmm supposedly working, and it creaked like one of DB10's stubby, injury proned legs, imo, it hasn't aged well, again like DB10... :?

Has anyone been watching the 30/30 documentaries on ESPN Sport Classics these past few weeks? I inadvertently caught the first one a few weeks ago (about some basketball player whose name I can't recall) and all the ones I've subsequently seen - covering a range of incidents and characters in different sports - have been fascinating. 8)

Agreed. All the ones I have seen have been very well made and had an interesting human story behind it. Was a good one last night (repeated this evening) about 2 former Yugoslavian basketball players - one serb, one croatian - that were best mates but fell out when conflict broke out between their two countries.
