As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd be very interested to hear this too...looked like he marched off up the tunnel after the match and left Pat Rice to do the handshaking...maybe he skipped the post match interview.
What is it with the Spanish twat, £80,000+ a week yet he is not willing to take one in the face for his team :awnker: Fuck off back to barca you guttless wonder

I didn't see but I can have a stab in the dark
''I thought we played quiet well, for the penalty I didn't see it but Cesc told me that he didn't mean to hnadball it and he has gone to the Spurs dressing room to apologize to the player who took the kick for upsetting him.
Anyone else 100% know that a spurs comeback was coming before they even got their 1st? As soon as Chamakh failed to produce anything on that chance in in the 2nd half, I fucking KNEW they would come back.
It is that feeling of uncertainty that we all know surrounds this spineless team. It is that feeling when you know one bad bounce will cause the team to implode in heartbreaking fashion. I'm afraid it is that feeling of inevitability that this team will never rid itself of until 1 of 2 things happen. Either the club splashes the cash and buys some quality players with spine, OR, Wenger has to be removed and start with a new philosophy. Wenger's brain and philosophy have given him a kind of tunnel vision, where he refuses to fix the OBVIOUS problems that everyone else can see. His stubborn head will cost us over and over and over.
Today was an utter shambles. This is the type of shit that used to happen to the spuds or the scousers and we all had a good laugh. Wenger has presided over two of the most pathetic derbies in recent years- the 4-4 and today. He has lost all feeling for this club and through a combination of arrogance, idiocy and poor management has created a team that has no feeling and passion for the club. Fabregas giving away that penalty today was pathetic- would Adams or Mclintock have done that? No fucking way. He has got away with so many small, petty, niggly things on the pitch that he thinks he can do whatever he likes and be fine. He got away with it against the scousers last season and did the same fucking thing today.
As has been said before, major changes need to be made to the playing staff, the management and the whole ethos of the club. They have existed in a bubble of comfort for too long and now need that bubble bursting. I don't expect anything to happen or changes to be made at any level of the club so we'll be going through it again in a few months.

I didn't but get your bullshit bingo card ready. I'm sure his great words of wisdom would have contained:
Physically
Jaded
Handbrake
Inefficiency
Lost concentration
The referee was very poor
International break
Difficult to explain
Unlucky
Great belief
We will continue to fight
.........SHOUT HOUSE !!
You've won an all expenses paid trip to Trophylessland......
People talk about Wenger being intelligent, well that's utter bollox. The man never ever learns from his mistakes! 5 midfielders and 4 defenders and we can't protect a 2 goal lead? We've been crying out for a giant, commanding in the air CB for years and all Wenger does is sign bargain basement Frenchmen who couldn't command a nursery school. TWO so called defensive midfielders playing..... Words fail me. Wenger is totally to blame, we are fucked and it makes me so damned mad that this man is not held accountable!
Sadly, in games like this, I think we really miss Vermaelen and he doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon. Why Wilshere didn't play, God knows, unless he's not as fit as they claim. Wasn't Koschielny bought as cover and someone to bring on?
