As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Have you read any of my posts on AA?

You would know that I think he is technically excellent but offers such a low workrate, particularly failure to track back, that he is a liabilty.
If he is not playing central behind the striker, which he is unlikely to do as Cesc, Wilshere, etc seem to be above him in the pecking order, then we can replace him with a more effective player on the left.
If you read my posts I've been sayign since the moment he joined he's been played in the wrong position. Arshavin shouldn't be asked to track back - that's not what's he about.

You criticising him for not being able to perform a role he's never been asked to do in his career.
If Clichy is bombing down the wing to whip in a cross while fat boy falls over and slowly picks himself up while leaving a gaping hole at the back then he needs to change that because its team play. If your team mate is overlapping you, then cover him.

Arshavins quality is the reason for the high expectation, we all know what he can do on the ball. Hope he gets another tonight, need the points for my dream team

Anyone would think he's never been seen in our half defending.

He is world class, i dont think hes been anyhwhere near his best but hes got an impressive number of assists and goals already! I just wanna see more from him, he can be a joy to watch!
According to quartz this is the only the second time this season he's turned up for us.
Seriously has anyone ever seen Quartz and Mr. Hill-Wood in the same room at the same time

Didn't u read what I said? He shouldn't be playing out wide offering potential cover to Clichy.

Yeah. He is usually sluggish.

His position is the Bergkamp role true, but as he does not play there for us then there is even less justification for us to keep him.
Only if Cesc leaves in summer and Arshavin gets Bergkamp role would I look forward to Arshavin being with us next season.
In modern game we cannot afford a luxury player who does not work hard, look at Barcelona, they all work hard.
