I'm going to tread carefully to avoid flaming this again, important topic but too easily heated.
Do any of you remember how gay could be used to describe anything bad like "that show is so gay!" Less nowadays but still can be said sometimes and as a bisexual, this makes me quite uncomfortable whenever I hear it. I know most who use/d it meant no harm, just a phrase and some may call it over-sensitive of me but I do mind. I can understand why Jewish people wouldn't be too happy with the word **** thrown about and would be in favour of Arsenal taking that step and banning it, maybe other clubs would follow, after all we claim our club has class and history so why not make such steps? Still that is my view, others are happy to use **** and would rather not see it banned, they see it as harmless.
What I found amazing though was how quickly these three fans were slammed for trying to make a name for themselves, in which case what are their names? For money at which point what money are they gaining from this exactly? The lawyer maybe but the fans haven't. For suing the club when they haven't, now if they do end suing and do it for massive amounts rather then token damage, fair enough blame them for it. I'm going to praise them for trying to bring to light an issue they feel is important

Bro, did I read that right? Did you just come out and admit you are Bisexual? On here? For real? Did I miss something?Magic Hat wrote: Do any of you remember how gay could be used to describe anything bad like "that show is so gay!" If you are genuine, then I think that is incredibly brave (or mad

*Obviously the live and let live bit does NOT apply to those f*cking devious Faroe Islanders. Bastardhole Crunts the lot of them, with their fancy cold weather clothes...

Sorry to split hairs(!) DB10, but Magic Hat has never proclaimed anything about his sexuality so therefore cannot really be coming out now!DB10GOONER wrote:Bro, did I read that right? If you are genuine, then I think that is incredibly brave (or mad). It wouldn't be my cup of tea but live and let live* has always been my motto, so fair play to you.

And anyway, if Magic Hat is declaring bisexuality, then surely he would not be coming out of the closet - merely poking his head round the door

Didn't mean to imply that he was coming out of the closet at all!Galasso wrote:Sorry to split hairs(!) Dublinese 101 time again!!
Saying someone has come out and said something is a real Dublin expression. It can be cut short to "She came out with a right load of old bollix last night." Now that would not mean that the lady in question had literally produced an old man testes the previous night. It would mean she had been talking rubbish the previous night.
Join me tomorrow and I shall explain what the delightfrul term "Throwing sausages up O'Connell Street" means...
