Well stuff you lot. Wenger is commited to Arsenal - end of. Glad to see Theo forcing more humble pie down the throats of his critics as well. Let the good times roll and the good results continue

How dare we be happy we won, that's not cool.

  just stating a fact, i think it says more about the PL, then it does Norwich

maybe they will finish in the top 12 - but still have players who have played at lower league and conference level

sounds familiar to our squad

Needs 4/5 good chances before he scores.

What I do like about him is that he isn't scared to run at defenders, which can cause them problems, for too long we have tried to pass our way through with no plan B.

bloke has been a decent winger and looks could attacking defenders, but is shit infront of goal - had many chances recently and fucked them all up
I think its his confidence, he can score goals at least but importantly he provide assists.
I know its the French league, but he was Lille's highest goal scorer and highest assist.
He took one instinctive powerfull shot against West Brom, albeit off side, but it does suggest he'll be alright.
He is getting into scoring positions, which is important..
With time he will come good.

And wasnt chamakh top scorer in ligue 1 when bordeaux won their league the season before he signed for us ? Correct me if I am wrong but being top scorer with 15 goals hardly suggests prolific striker does it ?
10-15 goals from a winger/forward is a decent return. His stats are actually better than Hazard, but Hazard is younger so will improve.
I expect 12-17 goals this season from him, because he seems to score in 1 in 3 games.
He will score against Fulham.

Actually during his last season Chamack wasn't even the highest scorer for Bordeaux not even the assists.
He was 17th top goal scorer in Ligue 1 that year.
To add, Gervinho was higher than him that year too.

Gervinho will start scoring,

Alan Smith!!! What a legend! Every was having a right old sing and then his appearance- I swear he got mobbed!!

He is beginning to really get on my tits and appears a right fcuking wanker when he is commentating on our games  Some fans have defended him on the basis of him trying too hard to appear neutral but bollox to that excuse.....call the game honestly and when the ball hits our player's leg and then bounces up to his his arm then say it openly that by the rules of the game it couldnt have been a handball instead of your bullshit nicey nicey crap  For me he is as lazy and cliched a journalist as the rest of the journo c**ts
So because you don't agree with some of the things he says in his commentating, he i snow no longer a club legend/hero?

I dont agree with everything Ian Wright writes or what Merson dribbles on soccer saturday, still got hero status with me.

Nice to meet Franksav and Flash. Great day :barscarf:

Mert is starting to remind me of Senderos a bit with his clumsiness. I wasn't too thrilled when we signed him, I dont care how many international caps he has. As big as he is, he is not very athletic and more importantly has no presence. Kos/Verm being smaller have been winning more headers than him. I hope he improves but I'm not very confident.

Gervinho's erratic finishing is a huge concern because apart from RVP, him and Theo will get the most opportunities to score in games. We simply have to ensure that the goals are divided among out front 3.

Good win though, a good performance offensively apart from some of the finishing. Norwich have played well this season and have done well against the likes of United and Pool.

A good win and a possible banana skin game sorted (although I had a horrible feeling Mert would gift them a late silly equaliser for the whole of the last 10 minutes... :? ).

RVP is class. But I watch every game now with a sick feeling in my stomach - when will it happen? When will his season be ended by an injury yet again. I can't help it.

Vermaelen is class too but he needs a better partner than Mert.

Ramsey and Arteta are improving every game. They are starting to get smart and economical with the ball. A good ways to go yet but they could form a good partnership in there.

Song was awful again. He is now totally back to his shambling, bumbling worst. He loses possession by dwelling on the ball too long, he passes right into feet when someone is running and needs the ball a yard ahead of them, his “tacklingâ€

Song did absolutely brilliantly for our winner
yes he lost the ball a few times to many
but he managed to win it back a lot as well

My opinion is people who have decided he's not good enough just watch for mistakes to confirm their prejudices

there where even people around me moaning at Theo who I thought was excellent (he stayed very wide which seemed to irritate people but I would assume that was a managerial decision)

excellent performance - for me Vermaelen MOTM
on current form RVP is pushing to be included in the Messi/Ronaldo bracket
but less talked about is the Verminator who is playing at the level of Vidic/Lucio/Pique

was very pleased to see Theo on the halfway line for Norwich corners - he can't defend headers but he scares people, they sent back three
(can't believe it has taken so long to do something so obvious but still glad to see it)

also loved the fact we suddenly have some chants for our players
on the train up the "Gervinho oo oo o o" JLS chant sounded stupid, 4 cans later it was genius
"Wojciech Szczesney built my house, built my house, built my house, Wojciech Szczesney built my house, we love Polski" is quality
"Oh Vermaelen Oh Vermaelen Arsenal's number 5 - fuck your Rooneys fuck your Drogbas he will eat those *word censored* alive" is also class

great day out - I even had a posh dinner at Delia's with my mum and dad afterwards
not as hardcore as some awaytrips but a wicked day out nonetheless
