What surprised and indeed annoyed me most last night was, that it was the first time this season that I was genuinely upset that we got beat.
I went to bed and couldn't get to sleep I was so fucking angry at both the result and at myself, for allowing myself to get lured back into believing that things were changing. :banghead:

Do you also believe that we are about to spend £50m in top class talent this Summer, sid ?

Don't do it to yourself mate - you'll become a self harmer like our esteemed manager

Re: Oxlade-Chamberlain

I do stand by the reasoning that young players should not be overplayed in order to prevent bone fissures.
But that means not starting them every game in every competition.

Half a hour as a sub is surely within their capability.

Agreed on both counts.

Ever heard of the phrase "signature". As in.. the signature dish in that restaurant is the steak and chips, or the signature of that designer is his use of strong colours etc.....

We have a signature result - lose against some shite when we've gone on a run beating all-comers. It's happened every season since 2004-5. It is the single reason why we will NEVER EVER WIN ANOTHER TROPHY UNDER WENGER. This squad is rotten to the core with a loser's mentality and a complacency born out of arrogance. We always think we've got the job done before it's even close to complete. Depsite the efforts of Arteta, Vermaelen and VP, the rest of the clowns drag them down to the same level. You can see it in the youngsters coming through. It's all a big joke to them.

Fuck Off Wenger!!

I'm pretty sure that the one comment I heard shouted the most was CLOSE HIM DOWN! It was just awful. It really has been the worst match I've attended this season. I found the match quite boring, and whilst part of it was down to our play, a huge part was the time wasting tactics of Wigan. This should've been dealt with well before the 90th min. I've been to other matches where we've lost, but I was never bored.

Wenger really has fucked up with Chamakh, Park, Bendtner and Vela hasn't he

Of our 5 strikers, 2 are on loan (and aren't exactly keen to come back) and the other 2 don't come on under any circumstances :? forcing us to play 1 [very good] striker all alone up front in EVERY game for 90mins regardless of how the game is going.

It's nuts!
YES, more strikers! But we also need depth in the midfield and defence. We need more solid strikers, ones to play with RvP and fill in for him so he can rest; we need solid depth all around, end of.
