Cesc to return?
Re: Cesc - Arsenal paying more than Barca
2 fab goals by Messi. He is so good.

Not quite as good as Giroud of course.1989 wrote:Understatement of the century?Chippy wrote:2 fab goals by Messi. He is so good.
Re: Cesc - Arsenal paying more than Barca
They played some absolutely breathtaking stuff.. that was more like the Barcelona from 2 or 3 years ago or so.. and all that without Fabregas..

I think Cesc was a bad signing for them.kite wrote:They played some absolutely breathtaking stuff.. that was more like the Barcelona from 2 or 3 years ago or so.. and all that without Fabregas..

I agree with you. Think THE problem is that they have to play Iniesta as a winger to play Fabregas in midfield but Iniesta is no winger - he's the best midfielder out there

Re: Cesc Unhappy with Whores
Cesc to return rumours continue.
Would happily see him next to Wilshere with Cazorla in front.

Why would he want to come back to a club with no ambition which is no different to the one he left?QuartzGooner wrote:Cesc to return rumours continue.

And its in the Daily Shit
Re: Cesc to return?
He's won what he needs to have won i.e. everything in world football. All footballers have egos and we'd probably pay him more to be a big fish in our puddle, then Barca would to be a squad rotation player. Would welcome the fella back with open arms

Shit, i'd spread my butt cheeks apart to get him back.SteveO 35 wrote:Would welcome the fella back with open arms

Wouldn't go quite as far as number 5 (good to see you back on here buddy

I know this might piss some people off but I think if Cesc did look to rejoin us in the summer then I would lose some bit of respect for the guy - I cannot understand how any player of his quality (especially one that was in our club up to a couple of years ago) with any bit of ambition or self respect would join what is now a selling club without ambition

If Cesc did return, and we have no way of knowing whether this is opportunistic journalism or if there is something in it, then I would not lose respect for him.
I take the opposite view to you Augie; why would a player of his calibre want to sit on the bench at any club, no matter what club, than to play regular first team football?
There may also be an element of him being sold by Barcelona rather than of him forcing a move?
If they are going to rebuild, then they have to raise the funds, and the Spanish economy is even worse than ours at the moment.
Cesc and David Villa would be not obvious candidates, but possible candidates, for selling off.
