LAY OF THE DAY - BET OF THE DAY

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Sod off mac.

A couple of early Cheltenham pointers for you.

Triumph Hurdle. Somemothersdohavem, e/w @ 50/1. Won well last week, and a few whispers going around for it.
Champion Bumper. Doctor Harper, e/w 14's - 25's available.

your the daddy of betting TL, but i think Our Connor will go well in the Triumph, i've been very impressed with him
other bets lay Hurricane Fly, not convinced after last years running, few pennies on Zarkandar for me.
Sprinter Sacre should be way too good for the Queen Mothers field, may have a bet on the winning distance, No Big Bucks so the world hurdle looks open and so does the Gold Cup

4 great days of national hunt racing, can't wait

Cheltenham just around the corner so I did a small stakes Lucky 31 yesterday

Pertemps Final
Sam Winner @ 9/2

Albert Bartlett
Ballycasey @ 9/2

Coral Cup
Pendra @ 10/1

NH Chase
Rival D'Estruval @ 6/1

Neptune
Pont Alexandre @ 9/4

Anyone agree or disagree with any of those selections?

How does a Lucky 31 work, RG?

31 bets. 5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles and 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.
For example, for as little as 10p per bet (total would cost £3.10), if all 5 won it would return £1,723.70.

Gold Cup.

Sunnyhillboy is still available @ 40/1.
For an e/w punt.
Second in The National over four miles.
3 1/4 miles in soft at Cheltenham, quite probably riding more testing than that and requiring stamina to get home, and good jumping out of tacky ground.

Back the Oirish hosses this week. Soft going at best the first day, and after day two it will be like a Clonmel field after a Gypsey trailer park stock car race.
Irish going is always far worse than we get at our tracks and their nags stay longer than cold sores.

Lucky 15

Ballycasey
Champagne Fever
Dynaste
Desert Cry.

Whatever your luck this week. Just kick back and watch the best racing on earth, and have a fucking great St. Paddy's Day.
