Mannone kept us in it at the end. It's amazing the difference a decent goalkeeper makes.

Gervinho looked like he was trying to play rugby out there towards the end.
About time Walcott was given the chance up front.

so as things stand we are 1 point worse off than last season in the corresponding fixtures played but that is to be expected considering we sold our best player in the summer.
Big win for Spurs today - they will be far more of a threat in the top 4 trophy this season I think.
You're just embarrassing yourself now mate.

Lovely to see such unanimity on here for a change! :barscarf: :barscarf:

Why do you post on here? Genuine question. Not to "Red Member" but to the person behind the caricature. I get why trolling would be a laugh every now and then, but to actually become a regular poster and spend hours on end deliberately posting absolute nonsense :rubchin:

I mean hey, whatever you're in to, I guess. It's just that, if i were so pissed off with who I really was that I felt the need to create alter egos and parodies of myself online, I'd much sooner do it on one of these sites, as opposed to a football forum. But, again, it's just a matter of taste I suppose.

look I just dont think the team is as good as last season. Ok?

if I am proved wrong then fair enough.

bit like last season when I KNEW the team was top 4 quality when everyone else on here couldn't see it.

anyway I said it was an ok result so I wil leave it at that but I can't get excited about a draw at an out of form Man City.

We are starting to see signs of an arsenal side with a bit of fight about them for the first time in quite a few years.

Personally, I was disappointed that we didn't win, a bit of clinical finishing and that one lapse is the difference between having a real go at the title and being top four contenders. Nevertheless, the boys played well with the exception of Gervinho who I feel is becoming a bit of an enigma. The ox, in my opinion would be more effective in that position.

Also pleasing was there seems to be a strong bond between this group, no tossers ala Ade,Gallas, Nasri and Song to ruin the team spirit. The celebration after our goal showed a lot. Well played Arsenal.

ok I may have come across a bit negative after ths game BUT remember that we finished 3rd last season.

do we look likely to improve on that this season? I don't see it. Just my opinion but was this really a possible title winning side out there today?

Jenkinson, Ramsey, Mertesacker etc are all hard workers but I will be surprised if they win us the title.
the title winners I expect will come to the Emirates next Saturday. If Arsenal win that one then I deserve criticism for my comments but not at the moment.

Man Utd will win the title, couple of injuries for chelski and they are screwed. As for arsenal we are light years ahead of last season. Keep the team fit and anything can happen.

yeah, i thought the same - it meant a lot to the whole team.

six games gone and still unbeaten, level on points with the champions.

i think Chelsea and united will both drop points at stoke as Arsenal and City have - we've had a harder start than both of them.

three points on saturday morning and we'rein the mix this year i reckon, based more on our defence and midfield than anything at the moment.

Exactly it was the whole team that celebrated, they all went mental.

Good draw but Gervinho must practice shooting, gets in right positions but woeful shooting. That can be improved though as Ian Wright proved.
Ramsey looked more solid than in ages.
Cazorla immense.
Subs made at right time but Theo is well out of form. Guess Ox was rested?
Have to be honest but today we missed RvP.
Our new team organisation and pressing is very good.
