which striker (left back and backup goalie) should we buy?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lads - I'm locking this to get a chance to review it for libel. Will unlock it soon. Fuck me, some of you need to grow up.

Ok. I don’t have the time or the fucking will to edit so many posts so I’ve had to delete any posts accusing Wenger of fraud and any quoting it too. It was either that or delete the whole thread.

Personally, I get the impression that most were meant to portray him as a moral fraud rather than criminal fraud but we cannot take the chance of even one person complaining to the service provider and forcing Mike to pull the plug.

Apologies to anyone that lost a post because of this.

Lads THINK BEFORE YOU POST. Please. :banghead:

would love Neymar and think it makes sense but it seems unlikely
as I said earlier an Eduardo-esque (unlinked, cheap/mid-price, low wages, good record somewhere unnoticed) signing seems more likely
I guess Eduardo himself might fit that category.
I know he scored v Wales and Partizan, don't know how his league form is.
what would people think of him coming back?

Don't know whether that's serious or not but Eduardo has regressed even further than when he left us if his performance against Wales was anything to go by. Worse than Chamakh.

I didn't see him v Wales, there was a link/vote on twitter about Eduardo
I think we need to make a splash but did have a soft spot for him
he would need to be tearing it up to be considered, doesn't sound like he is

I know, mate. But we cannot take the chance. Hope you won't leave because of this but it's your choice.

Anyone got a good idea for which striker we should buy?

EDIT by ~Mike meant mikeyb, the original poster, not Admin Mike
apologies for confusion

Yeah, one that preferably knows where the net is, has premiership experience so he can hit the ground running and would cost under 25 million......van persie anyone  :?

Don't watch enough foreign football to give an informed opinion from other leagues but saying that, being stand out strikers in other leagues doesn't gaurantee that they will be of sufficient use in the PL.

Drogs is a great shout - although aren't Shenua paying him £250k a week?
He'd improve Chelski as well IMO which makes it less likely...
