The Gooner Chinwag (NSFW)

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Hey Skizz_b. Just seen this fella.

You know, the first anniversaries are the hardest pal. Birthday, wedding, Christmas, Mothers/Fathers day and first year anniversary of passing. It get's easier to bear mate. You will get there skizz. Mebbe, we posters have visited it afore ye, so we also empathise with ya too.
There are good lads on here, and when good wishes are sent, you know that they are really meant.
:barscarf: :barscarf:
Indeed we do...That 'ache' never goes away mate, but as TL said it does lessen with each passing year and as our own family come along/grow etc.. - Regardless of our relationship with our Parents...we only have one Dad and one Mam...and we cannot help but love them forever...as we should.

I did try and find one of Denis (God) Bergkamp sitting in full lotus but was not successful...he's probably too busy feeding the zillions with 5 loaves and 2 fishes to have his piccy taken in that kind of pose!....also that second one reminds me of someone on here, but can't quite think who... :rubchin: Fwank!??

Kenny Sansom.

Arsenal legend Kenny Sansom was rushed to hospital yesterday after collapsing in the street near the Emirates Stadium.

The 1987 League Cup-winning Gunners captain was taken to Whittington Hospital after customers and staff from a local shop rushed to help the 54-year-old former England left back.

Hope the legend is okay. Anyone hear anything?

Nope, is it a trick question - like if a tree falls in the forest with nobody around does it make a sound ?

Get well soon Kenny, my all time favourite Arsenal left back. :barscarf:

OBG.
I thought that I would post this on here, rather than the Krunts thread.
Things were very shitty from November onwards. Gave up the fags and left the marital home. Then estate agents beings wankers and solicitors being blood suckers.
Fast forward to now. Been here is silly Suffolk for two weeks, looking for rental accommodation but staying with family, for a while at least. Sent my c.v off last week to local agencies for courier work. I have been inundated with offers. No surprise really when I have done 125 drops in Covent Garden I can manage 60 drops in Ipswich, Cambridge and smaller towns.
Glad to shake off the past and feeling rejuvenated.
When things look bleakest, it's the time to look ahead and forget the past mate.
Onwards and upwards me ol' son.

 TL and everyone else for that matter for your Good Wishes.

I know things will be waht they will be regardless of whether I worry or not - There's nothing we can do about tomorrow etc...I'm at full tilt and ...blurring round the edges....I'm not a coffee person but am relying on it at the mo....

I'm at the point of exhaustion...as much as I try not to worry - It still invades when I wake up at 3:00am and the ole noggin starts ticking over time...and then all the legal bullshyte to deal with ...and then...all the other stuff...I've spent the last 3 days from 4:00am till Midnight (at least) either packing stuff away or completing applications on-line and all the stuff that goes with that....

I'm truly Knackered.

Image

So if I'm not around for a while no worries.
