Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Here you go DB10. Something to cheer you up on this Monday morning.
Arsenal are ready to resist Alex Song’s plea to return to the Emirates, and concentrate on their bid to land Celtic’s Victor Wanyama.

He's a great sweeper-keeper but he sometimes has one-shot-one-conceded matches so not sure about him. Also I don't think Szczesny would be content with sitting on the bench.Top Londoner wrote:http://www.insidefutbol.com/2013/03/11/ ... des/80989/
£10m for Victor Valdes anyone ??

And he knows at the min, hes not going to be sitting on the bench because his competetion for the NO 1 spot are 2 of the worst gks ever, but when you have guy a getting 7.5m a year who made almunia our NO 1 GK for years wtf do u expect.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
If the reported bid of 15m came in for Podolski, Wenger would be totally mad not to take it
He has not exactly set the place alight

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
He is a player I would keep and actually play . We were crying out for class at the Lane and it was sat on the bench until the 75th minute. I wouldn't blame Podolski for looking elsewhere .Think he has got a raw deal.green gooner wrote:If the reported bid of 15m came in for Podolski, Wenger would be totally mad not to take itHe has not exactly set the place alight
Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
i love Pod,but if Wenker is gonna persist in playing him on the wing and totally wasting and destroying him he may as well sale him.in an ideal world he'd be playing centre forward for us but unfortunately this is wengers fucked up world,we may as well sale and buy a winger, having said that we'd only buy a shit winger anyway so may as well keep Pod,who knows, who cares anymore, square pegs round holes blah blah blah

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
I can't really see this happening, to be honest. I'd agree that Podolski should be starting up front rather than Giroud. If he had the opportunities as Giroud, I think that he'd have scored more goals for certain. For one, he can control a ball and dribble a bit as well, which Giroud cannot do. And his finishing is probably the best at the club.markyp wrote:i love Pod,but if Wenker is gonna persist in playing him on the wing and totally wasting and destroying him he may as well sale him.in an ideal world he'd be playing centre forward for us but unfortunately this is wengers fucked up world,we may as well sale and buy a winger, having said that we'd only buy a shit winger anyway so may as well keep Pod,who knows, who cares anymore, square pegs round holes blah blah blah
Another indictment against our illustrious muppet in chief.

Pod is one of the our three world class players but has been mismanaged by Wenger. I would not blame him if he wanted to sod off given the chance

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
When we bought him his form at club level had taken a dip, and a clown like Wenger was never gonna give him the shot in the arm his career needed. The fact we hail him is in fact another measure of just how shit our team is right now.Leyton Gooner wrote:Pod is one of the our three world class players but has been mismanaged by Wenger. And all we can hope for is some major rebuilding work in the summer, of which Wenger is the main contracter.

I think we should break our transfer record by some considerable distance and buy Suarez, fuckin awesome player imo.

He'd be a great signing but why would he join us when he can join any other club in the world? We're not that much better than Liverpoor either. Also he's now earning more than £100,000 a week and Liverpool would be reluctant to sell to their Europa League places rivalsLeftfootlegendGooner wrote:I think we should break our transfer record by some considerable distance and buy Suarez, fuckin awesome player imo.
