The Orcs at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

anyone see the look sanchez fired at wally after he missed his sitter in the opening two minutes?

fucking poisonous. could be a chance he is livid with the striker situation. so sad to see, because he would be such an asset with the right people up front, instead he is laying on quality service to a couple of duds :banghead: :(

Wouldn't blame him if he fucked off at the end of the season. Deserves much better :(

I do & all I get is some Theo lover hammering me for mentioning the fact !! But how would I know - I'm an old fart. The goal he did get he took OK but you would expect that with a one on one with the keeper & with his pace to get onto the through ball. Nice through ball from Ozil. With our tippy tappy build up he doesn't get that kind of service very often. Maybe when we're on the back foot a little more he could be useful on the break. Against Chel$ki ??. Only AW knows. :barscarf: :barscarf:

I am no Theo lover

You are such a child fella you really are, I just don't understand why you ONLY slate theo when there are plenty of other players more deserving of criticism.

11 goals in 11 games, what's girouds record in that time yet you don't slate him, is it a black thing :?

I know full well Theos shortcomings and he has many flaws but if you are only hammering him because of his wage who's fault is that?

It's not Theos, he obviously has good negotiators and any of us here would be sure we could get the most out of our employers (unless you are a soft touch) and if arsenal pay him that then fair fucks to him.

I will reiterate what I have always said on here, NO top player is worth the ludicrous amounts of money they earn, NONE.

But in this present market and Arsenal being in the top tier it is what it is, Theo will sell a shed load of shirts and the club will more than break even.

Another scenario for you, if senogo is on 60, 000 a week and Theo is at least 10 times the player he is then Theo should be on 600,000 a week, no?

Theo has his faults but he will get goals and his movement gets him those chances, NO player scores all their chances, if he puts away one in four then I am happy with that.

I don't expect this to change your perception of Theo as you seem set on your opinion but please grow the fuck up old fella.

In fairness, he's been here 20 years; I'm sure people's opinions aren't going to get swayed by the odd results; especially a home game against Stoke.

Not referring about yesterday, we've won big games in the last 12 months - city away, Utd away, Liverpool home, FA Cup Final - but zero credit to Wenger, just continual abuse, some of it racist, but it's never condemned by the mods.

Pretty pathetic but keep on believing you speak for the majority of fans.

You have to laugh at it all :-P :-P

RACIST abuse not condemned by the mods? tell me more please.

Yeah, we won some big games. Lost some too: Monaco springs to mind.

In the end, it all ended up with 3rd place in the league (10 years running in 3rd/4th place?) and eliminated in the first knockout stage of the CL for the 4th year running.

Very familiar.

I've been one of the more optimistic on here and I do see shoots of progress but it's only shoots as if there is progress, is not always easy to see. Is that enough for a club like Arsenal?

FA Cup saved our season though.

Hope this season is better than the last 10.
