The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger will probably personally attend his work permit appeal hearing in lieu of match preparation or actually signing players we need.

Just like with Ryo Myaichi. Thank fuck for that

Wenker is too busy scouting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to think about inconsequential things like work permits for dogs sake.

Who Else Is There ?
Joe Cole

I hear that Brazilian mid-field Dynamo Denilson is without a contract/club... :suicide:

I'll be surprised if we can't get a work permit for Elneny - 39 caps in four years for Egypt who are one of Africa's leading football nations.

And didn't that rule come in that if you spend over £10M, you get the permit automatically? Didn't we do that for Gabriel? Although I know well that TOF would hate to pay more for Elneny than he has to.

Coquelin forced back towards the end of January before picking up another muscular injury which ends his season.

Cazorla to suffer a setback and be "not quite ready" for several games in a row before coming back mid-March and forcing Ozil out wide.

Arteta to suffer several more injuries this season but still get a new contract.

Welbeck not to be seen at all in 2016.

Coq injured himself, it was a rash challenge that Jack would have been proud of, sidelined for months, but proud of. I think he gave away a free kick for it.

A couple of years ago, before he moved to Germany, AW was said to be looking at him and was vilified on these very pages. We could have saved ourselves 32 million.

And Wenker could have trotted out the line " I am sorry he didn't cost £42m "
