You clearly haven't read the Superfan memo mate - we are far too good for the Europa League.

Forget that we have 2 European trophies in our history. Forget that only three English teams have won a (proper) European trophy in the last two decades (and we're not one!). The Europa League is a million miles beneath us - we are a proud team who knows how to finish 15 points off the title winners and take at least one absolute drubbing every year in Europe.

Too fucking right. Another of Wanker's meaningless boasts about getting out of the group stage will be gone. The thought of the propaganda machine trying to claim that the Uefa Cup is a big competition and that season ticket holders will have it as part of our quota makes me smile. We almost drew the 2nd half, but a bit meaningless if you have been wiped out in the first 45 minutes.

Loving the fact that the Europa League is now virtually unavoidable. The JCL Be All and End All lovers will demand we have to beat Zagreb to keep alive the distant dream of qualifying in 2nd place and hence guaranteeing the wet dream of a spanking by Real or Barca in the last 16.

We'll beat Zagreb by at least 2 goals meaning they can't finish above us - Olympiakos will get the point they need from the engineered draw in Munich or failing that we will need to win by 2 out in Greece which we will never do.

If it makes you feel better blaming Wenger when we're losing to (probably) the best/2nd best team on the planet in amazing form whilst missing 8 players (wouldn't make any difference), then knock yourselves out.

This result was inevitable. Winning 2-0 in the home game was a bit daft, they were the better side comfortably too then, albeit not by this margin.

I haven't seen the game yet so I don't know how bad we were, but it's true that Bayern are a class team. I do take issue with the suggestion that we had 8 players missing tonight - we had bellerin and kos missing and they are automatic first choices, but wally, ramsey and the ox are rotated players at best.
