The Giroud Question

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You never know, if he's good against Germany we might get a few come in for him.

Wouldn't it he lovely if PSG offered 30m for the Golden Boot winner at the Euros?

We live in hope.

Surely if he wins the Golden Boot at the Euro's. It means he was the best striker in the tournament.

Why would we want to sell the best striker in Europe? :D :D :D

Sorry, do they not count because it's against Iceland?! I keep forgetting the rules.

Giroud's still gonna have a big role in the team / squad next year even if he is edged out by a better player. Unlike Wally Walcott who needs to have some self-respect and sign for West Ham or Crystal Palace before his career disappears completely.
Against Iceland no problem. Perhaps we can play them between Jan and April every week.
I'll be back when Giroud scores or assists on the way to knocking your lot out. GIROUD IST STARK

Is that the same Iceland that super quality PL strikers like Vardy, Sturridge and Kane couldn't score against...? The same Iceland that "world class media darlings" like Deli Sandwich and Granny Shagger could not out-pass or out-think? That Iceland?

Just checking.

Just a thought but if he does end up first or second top scorer at the euros he will probably demand a pay rise to something like 200,000 a week :rubchin: :barscarf:

His goals against Iceland will guarantee his position as Arsenal's unchallenged first choice striker for the next four years :barscarf:
