VILLA HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can't get even a half-decent stream is there going to be a lap of shame?

So much for a boycott of the lap of shame. Any banners on display?

Finishing 10 points behind Leicester is nothing to shout about.

Always happy to finish ahead of the scum, especially in these circumstances.. But this one is coming at a massive price..Wenger vindicated, Giroud vindicated, Not spending vindicated all because (I can promise you) Wenger will say at some point that Leicester winning the title is a one off freak and of the "natural" title challengers Arsenal finished the highest..
There will be no new striker now..So happy with Tottenham's collapse with one point from last nine but it doesn't vindicate Wenger or Arsenal in my opinion.. I may be in the majority on this forum but am certainly in the minority outside it.

Agree 100% with this Brady, but as it makes no difference what we do as there as so many behind the regime i'm going to celebrate St Tott's day. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Next season i have already written off because he is still in charge so enjoy the moment as happy Arsenal moments these days are few and far between

So apparently, finishing ten points behind Leicester is a cause for mass celebration. However, fuck off Scum. :D

The problem with Wenger is that he only sees the good in his players. To suggest that the transfer market activity of a top European manager would be swayed by the performance of a player in a single game ought to be laughable. But for Wenger I believe it's actually the case. We're right to be worried by the OG hatrick. A dozen bad performances, when it mattered is, for Wenger, 'not the real Giroud',. While today 'was the real Giroud'. During the years when we had quality in every position, his insistence on only seeing the good didn't overly harm us - the likes of Henry, Wright, Anelka's, Bergkamps flaws were vastly outweighed by their attributes. But now some of his players - Walcott, Giroud, etc - are bang average, yet he treats them with as much reverence and respect as the aforementioned players above. There's no way he's going to "kill" Giroud by buying a next step up player for 30m - 60m. At best we can hope for another second rater to compete with Giroud for his place.

4-0 win? Always delighted
5-1 Spuds defeat...against 10 men? Just fucking hilarious
Imagining the scum fans traveling back all that way...now behind us? Priceless
What this all means for our club? Probably not a lot

First time in ages been proud to be a gooner, forget the issues at the club for today and lets just laugh at the spuds going into total meltdown on glory glory.

Some of them sound suicidal.
