Aaron Ramsey gets absolute pelters on here from a lot of posters (me included) but fucking hats off today.

This is a guy who has a had a contract offer pulled from under his nose in the last few months, a guy who was sent to the arsehole of Ukraine with the stiffs Thursday night while the big guns rested up at home and a guy who’s been left with splinters in his hole from warming the bench for the majority of the season.

So if he wasn’t exactly feeling the love about the club then could you really blame him?

Yet when the going got tough today he stood up and was fucking counted. He was front and center in the scuffle in the corner grabbing Dele Fanny by the throat and comes off the bench at half time to produce two assists.

Hats fucking off to you sir. FUCKING BUZZING :barscarf:
I won’t shed a tear when he leaves but he’s going out with a good legacy with his two cup final winners.

Was one of the rare games that suited him down to the ground - absolutely hectic.

Exactly my thoughts on ramsey today. Still time for him to go as the young lad Douzi in the photo with him is ready to take his place. He seems just as passionate as the longest serving player still at the club.

Brilliant, brilliant result. The tide is turning back to us. Massive result not only because its the derby but also beating a team that has finished above us the last 3 season so emphatically will only push the players forward in a way we haven't seen for a number of years.
Good to see the players fighting for the club again.

Bangabang is now the top scorer in the PL with the best goals per minutes played as well as he has not started all games :barscarf:

This feels so good...Cheated by Dean and Son in the first half and we lost our way a bit..But regardless this team now has fight, spirit , talent and class..Iwobi got in some good positions but his decision making was terrible, Mikatharian is lightweight..Great decision to hook both at halftime. Ramsey did contribute to the win but he does revert to type too often. Kolasinic was animal today . He got what it means play in the derby. Torreira was everything today, I'm sure the tabloids will link him with United or City soon.
Bellerin put us under pressure with blind passing. Guendouzi is a Gooner..His reaction to a missed chance while on the bench, his seeking out Alli in the row, everything about him is loveable. Will the pundits take this Arsenal seriously now ? Hope not .
The Spuds love in was evident even as the teams were in the tunnel, by they got their answer today..
Ramsey was Ramsey. Some great runs and 2assists but decision making and final ball were poor at times. The one crucial sub Unai made was bringing on Guendouzi to shore up the midfield and dropping Xhaka into a back 4. The team went about it’s business with steely determination despite early set back and Unai deserves huge credit for his very hands on matchday management. Called for calm heads when we started to lose it after going 2-1 down. Mike Dean was Mike Dean once again and I’m glad that non existent penalty he gave didn’t end up being the talking point after the match. Under Wonga, victim mentality would’ve crept in and players would’ve wallowed in self pity on their way to another defeat. I read somewhere that it’s the first time we’ve come back from a goal down and won the Derby since 2007.

We came back from two nil down in the first 5-2 back in 2012.

The Welsh Messi-Lite gets exactly what he deserves on here - apart from that half season in 2014 and the two cup final winners he's been utter gash mostly with the stupid backheels and flicks and terrible decision making.

But credit where it's due he was great yesterday. Still error prone and still all about his own glory but fair fucks for getting after Divey ^^ Stupid Eyebrows and for getting 2 assists and making some great runs that seemed to panic the vermin back four. 8)

You give them too much credit. It's only the last 2 seasons mate.  We pipped them to 2nd in 2016.

Just saw another replay of their “penalty”. That piece of shit Son goes down in agony clutching his leg but stops thrashing around on the ground for a few seconds to glance back in the direction of the ref to see if his con job has been swallowed hook line and sinker.

Like Zaha a few weeks back if there’s any justice to be dished out this season then both those two c.unts will be carried screaming in agony from a pitch somewhere in the country at some point.

Son was at that shit again in the middle of the pitch yesterday where he goes down in supposed agony clutching his leg but popped straight back up when Dean ignored him.

VAR can’t come in quickly enough to expose both those vermin, cheating bastards.

The playacting from Son was a joke, even after cheating a penalty he was still in the refs ear and feigning injury.

I’m sure the FA will have zero hesitation in using their power to ban him.

I think the stat was being behind at half time and winning the Derby we got back to 2-2 by half time in the 5-2 ( Sagan’s header and a superb Van Persie strike )
