THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He won't walk away and he won't be sacked. The only way to get him out is if the fans at the Emirates have had enough and we know that no matter what, there are a majority of fans who think that he can do no wrong.

And to think that we let Guardiola go to Man City without a fight. It shows that we are a club with no ambition. No signings in January to show that we are pushing to envelope to win the title.

Really had it with Arsenal. They are just so damn boring. You could write the script every year. If we are challenging for the title, we will inevitably collapse and if it is playing for the 4th place trophy when we are sitting 5th, we will become the Calendar Year Trophy holders. It makes me think that the team do not have bonuses attached to winning the title, but rather to a CL spot.

It's like an ongoing nightmare that you can't wake up from and that should have ended the best part of a decade ago.

Please, someone make it stop.

we win the double this season but Arsene stays for 5 more years

or we finish 4th but ahead of tottingham but win nothing and Arsene stays 2 more years.

:D
For the pure and simple reasons:

Guardiola will take Man city to the treble maybe even the quadruple, chavs will improve next season as will the victims under Klopp and (I dread this bit) pochitino will continue the building work he has done with the sum who may finsih above us BUtNOT win the title - so gimme the DOUBLE! :high5:
spurs wont win the tilte, really??its spurs or Leciester and you fancy Leciester???
id take spurs to win the league if it meant Arsene leaves, the pain I feel right now cant get any worse, anybody who cant see this then im sorry but you are just childish, man up ffs,we need change

The contract extension will be signed behind closed doors, and will be made official by tweet on a big news day.

Some managers like to pen contract extensions on the pitch in front of the fans, but despite Wenger vainly believing he has the fans backing, deep down he knows support is dwindling to extreme lows.

I just wish he would go. We need a new start, someone with a fresh approach.

who's gives a shite. We finish top 4 get in to the CL. Then are humilated by Bayern or Barca, no chance of ever winning it. We make a few quid that the club don't even spend.

Ground hog all over again. I think we need a right good shit season for the club to wake up and make changes
I once said to my soon to be ex wife when she was watching Eastenders " don't you get fed up watching the same shit all the time"

Well I guess she's laughing at me now ?

Absolute fucking turgid drivel week in week out.

Mark my words.

Spurs will win the league (the worst of it's kind since it began) .

I know this is unthinkable but everything points to it this year. They are a young hungry squad with a tactically astute manager. They can see the opportunity and are prepared to work for it. Sadly our bunch are not and we a re being marshalled by a clueless deluded fool.

The only bright spot of this happening is that surely the deluded one will have to go. Even he could not come through that scenario unscathed.

Please go and lets have a fresh start.

Come on Leicester.

I think that I'd have to agree. I want Wenger gone no matter what. If we manage to fluke a title, it would be about 5 more years for him. He is just a stale stale manager who has far too much control.

Wow you're all worried about Spuds. Must make you all Scum fans! Real fans bury their head in the sand and ignore the league table and our own pitiful form contrasted with theirs...
Absolutely shameful, genuinely embarrassed. Norwich beat these lot FFS as did Midtjylland. JESUS

Maybe we are all in some kind of mass coma...and we can only wake up out of it if we truly, truly, TRULY believe and admit that Arsene Wenger is the man to lead us forward for the next 8 seasons...

oh well that's me fucked then.
