Re: THE WENGER THREAD
You could give Wenger £75m or £750m, but what if he sticks to the line 'there are no players available better than what I have'?.
The key word here is 'available', I hope it didnt go unnoticed last week how he dropped 'tapping' into his press conference.
It apparently cost us many title challenges.
The problem is he sees approaching any player at another club who does not have a for sale sign around his neck as tapping.
Cech, Sanchez & Ozil were all given the chance to leave by their club.
There lies the big problem, he will not pressure clubs that have useful (better than what he has) players that require prising away from.

"We gave a lot against Barcelona and that certainly had an impact on our belief against Manchester United."
Guess who just said that?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Asked who his leaders were, Wenger said: “The team. In every position".

Still delusional after all these years.
And great news on Ox, he should be available to sit on the bench, row 2, at the Euros.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
A quick question for everyone on here. If we lose to Spurs on Saturday, and therefore our title challenge is all but over, would you: (a) put up with enough poor results to see us drop out of the top 4, and finally see Wenger under real pressure, or (b) support the team in every game regardless of whether it means we 'win' another VT.

The Sanchez discontent stories have now also started to leak. I see FourFourTwo published confirmation today that the club has offered both Ozil and Sanchez new deal, that remain unsigned. Get the judas excuses ready AKBs, "who knew Ozil and Sanchez"?
Doesn't matter how much money you give him or who he signs. He'll find a way to incompetence it's what he does.

I accept that coming back from an injury is not easy, but how can he be fatigued when he's been out for 2 months?Ikechukwu1 wrote:http://www.football365.com/news/arsene- ... -with-rest

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Putting up with them and wanting them are two different things. I can never want Arsenal to lose!BFG4 wrote:A quick question for everyone on here. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I would like to see them lose the next three games. The pressure would then mount. The lack of CL football would make it hard to keep the likes of Ozil and hard to attract top class players. Dropping out of the top four is the only way to get past the be careful what you wish for argument and the financial fallout might concentrate the owners mind on what to do do with the club. It's difficult to wish the club to fail badly but we are already a failure in terms of a challenge for the real football prizes but the fact that we are a financial success perpetuates the status quo. In order to break the cycle we need a financial shock to hit the owner and losing the CL slot is about the only thing which would do that. Unfortunately the English coefficient slide could make it very difficult to get back in, but it's going to get more difficult anyway and we are probably not up to it long term under the current manager. So I think we need some real short term pain to have any chance of long term improvement.BFG4 wrote:A quick question for everyone on here. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If we don't make top 4 (which we will but just imagining) expect two lines from Wenger/the club
1) This proves we were right not to splash all of our cash, otherwise we would be facing a financial crisis
2) If anyone can get us back into the top 4 without spending large amounts of money it's Arsene
Whatever happens, whatever he does, in his and the boards mind they will be doing the right thing by him staying on.

Option A without a doubt - I would actually go so far as to play the ladies team against citeeh, and I would do the same against Leicester if we still had to play them. Some of us never thought that we would win the league anyway, but to lose against the scum on Saturday will be the final nail in the coffin, and from that point on, ensuring that the scum don't win the league should be our number one priority

Anyway my position re wanting wenger out has never changed - I do not believe that league position or results will force wenger out, and the ONLY thing that will drive the cu.nt out of our club is a campaign of real protests against him. Of course for many Gooners we would need the run of bad results to spark them into action in the first place, but they are the type of flip flopping crunts who will go back to supporting le cock as soon as we win a few games anyway, so there is no point in planning a protest around them

TBH it can happen. There is fit and then there is match fit. If a player is rushed back from injury without enough conditioning and enough reserve or u21 games to build his match fitness then he will tire out quite quickly. Again, it demonstrates poor man management by Wenger and is indicative of the level of ineptitude in our medical and physio departments.casgooner wrote:

You gotta listen to the guy - no man alive has had a longer history of multiple injuries, having a continuous run of injuries and basically being dogshite when returning from injuries, than our short arsed Dublin friend

Says the man that hit the post from 4 yards! It was like something blinded you. Oh yeah, your big fat bald head!

I've had my share of injuries. And yours too! Can't help it if I am brave as fuck / stupid as fuck [delete as applicable] on the pitch!
