THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Next year will be spurs, Chelsea, both Manchester clubs, Everton perhaps...... the battle for 6th place will be our new 4th.
Bloody Leicester and all their crisp money.

To paraphrase king Kev I would love it....love it.....if a few of the rags started to run stories about how the club was lining up a manager to replace Wenger, say for example 2 or 3 different papers started to claim Patrick Vieira was being lined up to come in this summer. Then sit back and watch him squirm and spit bile at reporters when he's asked about it at a pre match press conference.

And finally the coup de grace - at the next home game 60,000 voices rained down the Vieira song at the bastard to leave him under absolutely no illusion that the fans want the parasite OUT.

It hurts like absolute hell now, but in better times when the prick is gone we will look back at the 6 days where we lost to United's kids, Swansea's reserves and the spuds at the swap as the seminal moments that finally did for the bastard.

yeah and if these six days havent done for him then the trips to Spurs, Hull on a cold Tuesday night, Barcelona and Everton in the next fortnight surely will

Funny because after OT on Sunday Marcus Rashford was the new Van Basten. Comes up against Watford? Not a sniff.
Wayne Routledge hadn't scored in over a year. Comes up against Lord A-hole? Scores.
Mourinho couldn't buy a win against anyone. Faces Lord A-hole? Win. By more than a goal.
Norwich can't get a point against anyone decent for months. Face Wenker? Get a point.
Southampton are on a dreadful run of form. Koeman being questioned. Face Wenker at home? 4-0 thrashing, confidence restored.
WBA haven't beaten a single side in the top 7. Play Wenker? 3 points please!
Zagreb haven't won a CL game in a decade. Face Lord A-hole? Win and 3 points.
Olympiakos have never won a CL game in England? Easy win at the Emirates.
West Ham not got a result at Arsenal since that night Sol went potty? Easy away win starting with a teenage rookie in midfield!

COMICAL (if it weren't so tragic )

Here's what's going to happen. We'll scrape into 4th behind Leicester Spurs and Man U and Chelsea or Man C will win the CL.

Encouraging that pundits and media are all over Wenger at the moment and let's hope it continues to the point where our Great Leader will become the go to 'lazy' story when there isn't anything else to write about which might speed up his departure.

As dreadful as it sounds, a lose ot Spurs could see the media go into top gear and really turn the tide. Are we ready to take this one for the team? I think I am!

When you see loyalists like Arseblogger turning the screw on Wenger over the last few days you know his number is finally up. For the first time ever, the vast majority of the fan base now want him gone. Sadly it's going to get extremely nasty between now and May but whatever it takes to get him out needs to be done. There's going to be an increasingly toxic atmosphere in the ground with each passing home game before this thing finally all blows up in everyone's face. Buckle up, we've reached the end game.

I would never happen - but the stadium singing "it's happened again, Arsene Wenger, it's happened again...."

I am sure that Spurs will be singing something similar on Saturday...

Not gonna happen as long as this board personnel and structure remains in place - there is no way simeone would tolerate a losers attitude and would demand success, and of course that might rattle some of the board from their nice comfy lifestyle

I would be happy to see simeone as manager even if it was only for 2 years and even if I knew now that we would win nothing and finish out of the top 4 for those two seasons - I would really like to see a manager come in and wake these over-pampered primadonnas and demand more effort and passion from them  Brainless deadweights who put no effort in and only care about the paycheck (yes I am talking about you wally ) would be fucked out of the club in no time, and even if simeone himself fails, at least he would have cleaned out most of the shite from the squad for whatever manager then replaced him 8)

Anyway it will never happen

Where is Steve I these day out of interest? Remember he claimed those wanting Wenker out were "in the minority"?
It's flagrantly obvious that the majority now want Wenker out. Honestly it just takes every fan to bring a pack of Kleenex to the next game and wave the white hankies. Trust me, Sky sports and chums would be all over that. As for Wenker, he would instantly crack. I mean he's sarcastically giving fans the "thumbs up". The prick is actually taking the piss outta the same people who've subsidise his years of stolen wages. The AKBs look mighty foolish now eh? Wenker just doesn't care about them, or any Gooner.
